On another note, do you or anyone else know of the best converter to use with NTSC cartridges if I decide not to widen the cartridge slot?

I have an import adapter somewhere, but I've never used it since I had the SuperCIC fitted, so I don't know for sure if it works or not.

Sorry if I'm not understanding here - are you talking about a straight through-pass adapter that doesn't do anything except just allows an NTSC cart to plug into a PAL console? That's what I'm looking for so I can get the superCIC mod through you guys but avoid widening the slot to keep the original look of the console...
