Tetris Attack would be fun, but I'm not sure what kind of high-level play there is in that. Pokemon Puzzle League was a fun take on the formula (I think there were other sequels/spinoffs but I've only played those two).
Tetris Attack is one of the deepest, most interesting puzzle games on the planet, but the problem is, most people don't know about the depth at all, due to an addictive, but shallow, 2p vs mode.

1p Time Attack is where the real meat and potatoes of this game is.

I used to run tetrisattack.net and was basically a world authority on the game. I developed lots of high level strategies and created the site to teach people about the game. This was pre-youtube.

Though I got a small community of people into the game, it never took off to any degree and eventually I stopped maintaining the site.

Anyhow, I'm in the midst of getting my skill back in Mr. Driller G after a couple year hiatus and want to do a good Mr. Driller AGR episode before the year is out. Perhaps after that I can work on getting my TA skills back, although that will take CONSIDERABLY more time, and I'm not sure how many people will even be interested in it.
I loved Planet Puzzle League on the DS, would be cool to see this.

It'll be super popular. I'd watch that episode in 10000 tabs simultaneously, confirmed.

Mikehaggar, is your old TA site still alive in any form, or is the information available elsewhere? I'm very curious about this and would like an excuse to play Tetris Attack for hours again.

Kage all > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctBVydj-I0A
Youtube butchered the quality, i uploaded it as 480p, it got down converted to 240p, and at 30FPS, half the things in the game are invisible.
its almost a scrub run, i can do a bit better, had too many brain farts on this run.

It's completely dead, though you can use wayback on archive.org and look up tetrisattack.net.

Look for the last time it existed, and you can learn lots of techniques/see animations on how to chain, etc.

There used to be a verified records section with downloadable superplays...at this point a lot of them ended up on youtube, they start/end with the TA.net logo so that's how yo uknow where it came from. Mike Tran (Abused Rib) was the world's best verified player (if I'm remembering correctly), so you can probably find his videos around if archive.org didn't actually archive them.

I would like to bump this topic and proudly say that the Cyberbots/Armored Warriors double feature episode was a success!

Now you can hear me and my terrible accent, trying to comment with help of Aquas, on all the quirks in Cyberbots/Armored Warriors.
