Roommate's Lathe is finally gone, which PCBs should I buy
Re: Roommate's Lathe is finally gone, which PCBs should I bu
I found a video on youtube of Ketsui, it looks cooler than Ibara. Reminds me of extension of DaiOuJou graphically.
and to all the people pm me, lathe was already sold no longer available

I was highly disappointed when I learned more details about Arvin's lathe. It was just some kind of lame wood scrimshaw device - like a belt-driven woodpecker - instead of the death metal lathes famed worldwide (by demons, cultists, and members of Holy Church alike) that summon demons and heroes of fire and iron.

This thread is gold.
Ive known some "alvins" in my day, fucking shady mumbling beer bumming mahfuhs.
Ibara is theoretically infinite in its horizon of potential improvement.
If I had to choose 1 STG to play for the rest of my life and only 1, it would be vanilla Ibara.
but
I hope everyone hates Ibara.
Yeah! Dont buy those Ibara pcbs!
I hope people have trouble selling an Ibara pcb for $100.00.
I remember around 2010/11 I saw an ibara for $210.00.

Just wait until you get a good whiff of that Kyuukyoku board.

I recommend something Psikyo or Takumi for best value.
land for man to live, sea for machine to function.

I will search it although the title reminds me of game boy color game for some reason

OK Raiden DX looks good. It's like Tom Cruise from Top Gun sent on extra secret scientology mission in outer space, which is better Raiden DX or R-Type. Which is cheaper?

I see 2 Twin Cobras on ebay for $145.00 each.
I dont know anything about region differences though?
Honesty Kyuukyoku Tiger is harder than Ibara IMHO.
and I have an A score 1cc in vanilla Ibara.

MAK Japan has one for 26,250 JPY (about $275 USD). That seems a bit high though, should be able to get one cheaper than that.
TRY, G-Front, and TOPS don't have it though, so I'm not sure where to look. Yahoo Auctions JP also didn't have one.

For the "I only buys Japaneses, pleases" guy, remember that there are differences between TC and KT. Play MAME and take note of the checkpoints.
I don't regret my KT board at all, though.

ESPrade is a great choice! No ports, great art/design, decent challenge but not too silly, and solid bang for buck (less than half what ketsui costs and just as fun imho).
