Welp, after A.I.'s figure, it was obvious this would happen. Is it just me or are the legs very badly painted?Aleksei wrote:wait....what?

Amazing! Thank you so much, I love reading these interviews!blackoak wrote:bump ~ with a Shinji Hosoe/tatsuya Dragon Spirit interview and some more superplayer interviews, this time concerning a Mushi Futari scoring competition held shortly after the game's release. I have about 6-7 more superplayer interviews to get to, including some Ibara ones that I think I'll do next.
Can't wait for this, you are a fucking legendblackoak wrote:I have about 6-7 more superplayer interviews to get to, including some Ibara ones that I think I'll do next.
Thanks, that would be great! I'm going to do this khdn interview soon too.KAI wrote:I can link your work on some game music sites if you are ok with it.

Holy hell man. Just a bit too pedantic don't you think? Here's a better idea, if you want to translate stuff then why not grab an article not featured on the site and submit a translation.awo wrote:I have enjoyed many of these translations. I thought it might be helpful to point out typos to further refine the already high quality of the site. Here is what I have found so far, I hope others will post what they find as well:
From
http://shmuplations.com/cave-facts/
MUSHIHIMESAMA:
"But we didn’t mind: we were in love with this hardware that wouldn’t complain no matter how many bullets we threw at it. "
should be:
"But we didn’t mind: we were so in love with this hardware that we wouldn’t complain no matter how many bullets we threw at it.
PINK SWEETS:
"We were under the pressure because it was our very first title,"
should be:
"We were under pressure because it was our very first title," (delete "the")
DODONPACHI DAIOUJOU (BLACK LABEL):
"Could it be the image of a spirt…?”
should be:
"could it be the image of a spirit…?”
That's not a typo - the programmer is saying they didn't mind the long hours, since they were enjoying the new hardware "that wouldn't complain no matter how many bullets we threw at it." "Complain" here meaning to slow down, crash, et cetera.awo wrote:MUSHIHIMESAMA:

Are you talking about the one from Dengeki Online or the one from Shooting Gameside 3?blackoak wrote:I'm going to do this khdn interview soon too.
are you sure this translation is right—What are the differences between Ibara, and what did you want to change?
Yagawa: The difficulty. I wanted Pink Sweets to be easier to pick up and play.
Here I guess he's just not considering the late part of the game and the 1CC crowd. Yagawa's principles are solid but he's always left me kinda dumbfounded when talking about his games, saying rank is no issue and so on.CStarFlare wrote:are you sure this translation is right—What are the differences between Ibara, and what did you want to change?

Haha, yeah. I also laughed when I read that, but from my limited experience playing Ibara and Pink Sweets, the latter is definitely easier in the beginning.CStarFlare wrote:are you sure this translation is right—What are the differences between Ibara, and what did you want to change?
