The first time I played Under Defeat I hated it because it felt like crap Zero Gunner 2. It's a good game in its own right, but don't play it after Zero Gunner 2.
Oh and BTW, Twinkle Star Sprites is amazing. Just an absolute blast. I've never met somebody who didn't like it, and I've definitely stayed up all night playing it with people before.

Under Defeat isn't as pricey as it used to be, although it's still not cheap enough to commit to without trying first. The comparisons to Zero Gunner 2 are understandable but it plays more akin to an updated Twin Cobra. And it looks incredible when stuff gets blown up.
Triggerheart Exelica needs a bit more love. A nice approach to "play for score" meaning you get additional boss patterns (and indeed bosses) if you rack up the points. How do you rack up points? By swinging enemies around and hurling them at each other. It's a shittonne of fun. The other ports strip out a few things, so DC is the way to go.
