The change for a while helped, then started getting pains in different parts. 20+ years of overuse has taken it's toll. Making larger movements in a relaxed posture is what I need. All pointing devices that need you to rest your arm on something will eventually screw you up if used too much.What do you use an iPad for?

So far videos on an airplane, and nothing else. Not sure if I will ever properly utilize it. I use my laptop for videos in bed, which is just better. No need for a stand. Big screen. Plays all kinds of file types.

One other thing that made a big difference for me was getting a corner desk at home. That lets me rest my entire forearm on the table, including my elbow. I'm not sure if this actually fixes the problem or just delays it...
