In a way, I would not be surprised if the majority here are averse to social gatherings with lots of strangers, not in a phobia kind of way, but more as introverts who prefer solitude. First off, I'd imagine most extroverts wouldn't spend time playing video games, much less niche video games. Second, since extroverts gather energy from being around lots of people, they probably limit their Internet activity to posting on twatter and spacebook, where they'd show off to everyone what they've been doing outside 8)

I'd wager you are correct, we should start a poll but I already know which side i'd be sitting on.

Totally reminds me of a scene in Neon Genesis Evangelion where Asuka, Rei, Misato, Katsuragi and Shinji are having some kind of party and Shinji confides in Misato saying something along the lines of "I don't understand why they all have to be so noisy" I completely understood where he was coming from when he said it and i've loved the series ever since.

I think any socially depressive individual should watch this, they'd get loads from it.
The universe is neither hostile nor friendly, simply indifferent.

Even without my umbillical cable attached I still have over 12,000 plates of fortified armour AND I have my AT Field! There's NO WAY I can lose!!

I'm not sure if it counts, but it's well-lit mirrors and such reflective surfaces for me... anything too dark or far away to really see faces is fine, though, and photos are mostly passable now.
