Bloody Hell...you guy's are getting on my nerves...ugh, I mean craw!

I guess I'll just give up on the term 1CC (even though I was one of the first to ever use it over here)
I'll go back to using phrases like "Flipped it", or I "beat" the game. To be honest, I probably won't even discuss it anymore.

Maybe I'm just losing intrest in shmups, or I 'm getting older and into other things...but these types of debates have no real value to me.

Older games went on forever...(you could only "flip/reset" the score)

80's 90's console games usually only had one "loop"... (Musha,Blazing Lazers,UN Squadron,ThunderForce series,,etc) when you beat the last boss, that was it!

The only reason why Modern Manics have a second loop, is so that the player won't feel "ripped off" when he clears the game with one credit in the arcade, only to read "Congradulations"/etc.etc. Then the second loop comes and kills you instantly...

Are you just being a little sarcastic, or are you a dedicated fan?

Honestly, I haven't played a shmup in at least two months or more...
My posting here at Shmups.com is even diminishing somewhat.

I don't care if you people play on easy and or credit feed. In fact, I'll even go as far as to say, you can even choose NOT to play in TATE...and thats just fine and dandy with me! :) You can even own the domestic version, and watch "replay videos", thats ok. I won't hate you...

If you're expecting a definitive answer you're not going to get one. There is no absolute answer. Psikyo never held a meeting or made a proclamation. It's not in the manual. Do -you- feel you 1CCed it?
Amen.
