Best doujin titles?

The hard-core shmuppers play their favorite doujin STGs on a proper candy cab setup...can't get any better than that, folks. Will set you back a pretty penny going that particular route.

For anyone playing on Win 7, Zen-ichi it does have a strange garbled colour bug due to it running in a window.

It can be fixed by launching the game by a shortcut icon, might have to run in compatibility mode as well.

Also IIRC one or 2 doujin can have framerate bugs in them (X.X games for example) which is fixed by toggling on or off v-sync in the graphics card options

Zen-Ichi and Airrade Air are fantastic games which I am fortunate to own the discs of.

That said ChoRenSha 68k, Blue Wish Resurrection, Warning Forever and Torus Trooper are all worth a loot if you like free shmups.

I'm not a big doujin fan but here are some good titles, though in my opinion they will nearly always be eclipsed by arcade shooters.

Blue Wish Resurrection (BW:Plus runs improperly on my computer)
Eden's Aegis
GwangeDash
Touhou: UFO, MoF, IN etc. (I'll be one of the first to tell you that I despise a good portion of the touhou fandom, but that doesn't stop the games from being good doujins)
