Aaarrgh, another gimmick from Microsoft trying to trick people into buying gold account. Atleast nowadays it shouldnt be so hard to cancel your gold subscription.

Bought RSG and hard corps in the end.

Hard corps is pretty good but I kind of knew that but didn't like it's 1200 price point when it was released so that's a good deal.

RSG I don't really like still, but at 600 points it's nothing worth crying over and I guess it's "supporting the genre".

Happily, but just as a heads-up, you can get the 2-player achievements offline. I got my brother to suffer through a couple of levels with me a few months ago.

I've got all the achievements, and have never played an online game.

As if on cue, I got an email tonight from Microsoft with a 1 month Gold prepaid code. Glad I didn't have to break out a 3 month code for this.

Bah. If that's the case, no money for Microsoft. More money for Steam daily deals since they actually want my cash I guess.

Microsoft are clueless when it comes to selling stuff online. Seriously, they have a huge catalogue of many hundreds of download games there, most of which are just sitting there with practically zero sales since their initial launch, and they just let the catalogue fester. And to make it even worse, they then limit most of the sales to the minority of the user base (gold subscribers).

Already had Guwange, but picked up Bangai-O and Hard Corps Uprising as I had planned to get them anyway.

Don't think I like Radiant Silvergun enough to spend 600 MSP on it, though.

I got Guwange and Radiant Silvergun, still mulling over Contra for the few days. Have played Guwange for a couple hours. I like it! But of course, my opinion is opt to change if game long chaining becomes really annoying. I don't care right now though. It's fun and I do really like the style of the game. Next to Mushi it's one of their more unique takes. If it wasn't apparenty I'm focusing on the original Arcade mode for now. I'll try arrange once I get a good grasp of Arcade.
