It's working now. Originally I had assigned an external USB drive as the 'D:' drive and just used it for save/settings data, but after also moving the game files onto the D: drive it now runs at the proper speed. Yay.

And it should be easy enough to find online.
It sure sucks when that sort of thing happens. Some dick has to ruin it for everyone. IMO Arika should've gone after the guy who was actually selling it more than the developer. Meraman didn't make a yen off this, right?

Hopefully Meraman has the DS version finished up by now, even if it's only for his personal use. Even in its incomplete state it is amazing. One other system I wouldn't mind seeing TGM3Ti ported to is PC-Engine CD. Unfortunately some jackass would probably be eBaying burned copies of that and causing a similar C&D situation for the developer.

What I'm seeing in TGM3Ti with my nVidia card is that the line clear sparks, fireworks, and comets are VERY dim. They just don't glow as you see in the arcade version or on an ATI card. OTOH, it runs fine for me in every other way and I'll still play it- but I'll surely take a patched EXE if one comes out.

My old ATI graphics card had the particle effects right, but the Nvidia I recently installed is a GTX 520 and can actually play Homura (the old Radeon HD 2400 ran Homura at 20 FPS). Raiden IV exhibited similar slowdown on the HD 2400 during the opening scene, but resumed 60 FPS after the first four enemies of Stage 1 had been killed.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Bump.

My mom has Tetris Party Deluxe for DS. The regular modes have a timed lock and there's a master mode where the pieces lock fast.
In the Wii version's Master mode the pieces don't seem to lock any faster than other modes. Master mode is just pieces falling at maximum speed from the beginning. That's pretty intense, but still playable by anybody who just wants a very quick fix.
The locking speed seemed more forgiving to me than the GB version, but it's timed alright. For my money the Wii version's selling point is the co-op on one telly (not that I've tried all modes yet).

Have any of you guys tried M2's New Century? It's practically TGM3 with with some minor differences in the locking speed, plus, it has muic by Namiki.

Super old topic, but to answer the original question:

TGM1 was ported to PS1, but never released.
TGM2+ was ported to PS2, but never released.
TGM3 was never brought up in the context of porting, after TGMA sold poorly.
TGM4 was location tested in arcades but never even saw an arcade release. :(

With TGM1/2/4, Arika put in like 90% of the effort to get a product to market, but fell through in the end. Considering shit like this and the PS2 Ketsui port it's a wonder they are profitable. Arika was unable to secure the rights to a console Tetris release. Depending on who you ask, this is more to do with either their inability to find a publisher, or the unwillingness of The Tetris Company (TTC) to license the brand towards non-guideline Tetris rules (they have super rigid standards and TGM follows different conventions) on a platform that would give it a wide audience.

When Tetris New Century came out (Sega rules, with an extra "New Century" guideline mode thrown in as the feature mode), Arika flipped their shit crying "double standard". :P

Tetris with Cardcaptor Sakura is a weird game btw. It is kind of a spiritual successor to Sega's Flashpoint, and aside from VS only has gameplay similar to the Sakura mode of TGM3.
