I thought the picture was kinda funny, partly because I'm familiar with the game and it's just funny to see such a crude bizarre representation of the seemingly innocent & cute Dig Dug.

...and also because the goggle-dude has only an ass-hole between his legs. That part of the image raises a lot of questions.

Come to think of it, Dig Dug itself is disturbing. So your some kid burrowing underground, jabbing cute little pookas with a bike pump and inflating them until they explode??? If you look at Fygar's expression on that Atari box art, it pretty much sums it up. From the very beginning, Dig Dug was just wrong...

Well I remember as a kid playing the game on C64, I tried to figure out what exactly was going on in DigDug (and still don't know). Why are you pumping up the enemies, if it was a harpoon should that not be deadly enough?. And dragons I know, but what were those red things with googles!?. There is just so many strange things with that game... and now after seeing this :?

I know what you've been trying to say all along, and the pathetic thing is you're trying to make it even more apparent for everybody who isn't named Elixir. Good job.

Originally, this comment was said because of the image, because you're more than likely going to find stuff such as this in japan. What would gaming be without japan? The answer is 'xbox' my friend. Oh joy.
PaCrappa wrote:Oops! Actually that was the New Zealand version. That's my fault. I didn't think you'd be playing the Japanese one that the otaku kids play. Here's a couple screenshots of the one those "fucking morons" made: http://www.vgmuseum.com/pics6/digb.html It's probably a harpoon doing the pumping.
Ha, haha, hahaha. I love how you're trying to exceed your point beyond belief here, my beaten child. Why would there be a 'New Zealand version' of this game? We can't do anything right here in the gaming industry, mostly because everything is spawned by grotesque-like australians who are obsessed with rugby.

Your use of "otaku" is false too. It means "not japanese, wanting to be japanese, a person who embraces everything japanese." so yes, sir, you're going to tell me that there's a "japanese" version of a game which has practically no text, and a score.

Is the score and title in japanese?

Sick shit is all over the world. You live in a cave if you think otherwise. Attacking a race b/c one of them's artistic(?) taste, or lack their of, doesn't mesh w/ someone elses is just Ugly American.

Nope. That's a Japan-o-phile. Otaku is the Japanese word for geek. It applies to anyone falling into the category of liking games, anime, computers, comics, and any mix-n-match combination of them (everyone in this forum basically).

Only geeks would go to the effort of embracing everything japanese. There's people in japan that do this, but they're called loyalists.

*sigh*

Can't we just go back to being perplexed by the funny/perverted image?

That my friend, is completely untrue. How many times have you been to Japan? How many years did you live there?

well,
wether or not there's Harpoons or Bicycle-Pumps inflating naked Pooka ladies in Dig Dug,
I found something to make light of the issue of racism, since it popped up earlier in this thread.

Actually, the literal japanese meaning for "otaku" is "obsessed to the point of a mental disorder".
The radio said, "No, John. You are the demons."
And then, John was a zombie.

In what forum can I request more porn sex type games.

I'm also interested in racist games, but more for an educational purpose.
