Play DDP on a real console (Saturn), or arcade machine, or MAME with a good arcade stick. That will answer your question. It's not the same. But yes, you did do something most people can't do. It is an accomplishment, but not in the same league as 1ccing the real game.

The iPhone is a cute way for shooter vets to play dumbed down versions of good games when stuck at the DMV. If you haven't played and 1cc'd the real thing, why bother with the iPhone crap?

Maybe I am an elitist... but while the iPhone and iPad are cutting edge in many ways, I don't consider them gaming platforms for anyone but casual gaming lemmings. As gaming machines they are pathetic. You can't 1cc an iPhone joke and then 1cc on the real arcade machine. So... no... it doesn't count. Use the phone to call a girl and leave the gaming to ugly gargoyles such as myself.

I'm not as pissed off as I sound. I'm just funnin', and no offense meant to the OP. Touch controls are an awesome technology, and I think game developers should take advantage of them and create games for that technology (and they are). I just think that they will never have an "app for that" when it comes to an arcade experience.
