I do like it when people say what they feel. Not cool to lock down threads every single time that happens.

HOWEVER, back on topic - I'm getting a copy if possible. Not using Rancor's service but I usually get my JP stuff through other channels anyway.

There's a *possibility* according to a certain chappie who has some experience with Gameside publications that this might just be a one-off mag rather than a series, so we best not hold our breath for that. Personally I'd like to see a regular monthly shooter mag keeping the scene alive (it can only help encourage Japanese devs anyway.)

Off topic, I also always thought Elixirs blog being on Hatena was pretty pointless too, but whatever, there are plenty of nerdy Japanophilic losers who do similar silly shit all the time. I once ended up in an anime convention full of spotty cosplayers jumping around shouting out anime quotes and calling each other 'baka' in-between English composed sentences, and felt the urge to kill someone.

Stuff happens.

You don't get it. The majority of people here think you're an idiot.
The majority of people here don't even know you and probably don't want you speaking for them.

What I write in my blog is exactly that, personal stuff. If you don't want to read it that's fine. But back to not reading the thread correctly.

I'm sure a poll would show that I'm correct. The thing is, I don't care if people know me on the internet. I'm guessing you aren't popular in real life, so you spend your life trying to be a big shot on the Shmups forum. It's pretty pathetic.

Poor Matsunaga can't come up with a valid justification in speaking for others besides "b-but they would agree with me!". Yeah, this is really helping your argument. That doesn't ignore the fact that you've still attempted in trying to speak for the majority, lol.

The only pathetic thing here is your inability to read. This was never about myself and all about overpricing some magazine. This isn't a popularity contest and if it were, I don't recall ever claiming that I was competing.

I read everything correctly. It's pointless to argue with you. You're a simple minded little boy, have fun with all that.

Ok - So, seriously back on topic. I'm not going to respond to this Elixir kid anymore. The more he writes, the more he reveals about himself.

No one is even sure of what this magazine consists of. In my experience, I'm gonna have to say that it's a one-off as well, or possibly quarterly/yearly. Definitely not monthly. I don't think there will be any ads to speak of (hence the high price), and it will most likely be sold for a very limited time. I picked up a few magazines that remind of this format regarding the Super Famicom, and another for the Mega Drive. Both say Vol. 1 on the cover, but I've never seen a volume 2.

Guess what dumbass? The majority of people that posted in this thread seem to agree. Get a valid argument, then come back and see me, alright?

Your initial post made no sense as it was off-topic derailment and baseless, much like most of your posts. If your post was meant to be anything more than contradictory, it was not seen, because evidently only an idiot would claim that nobody reads something yet sources from that certain something at the same time.

You barely even responded to me to begin with, besides your response which you continually edited for over an hour trying to say something that you've already covered in a single paragraph. Yes, let's keep ignoring the fact that Play-Asia's Arcadia magazines are retailing only 200 yen above their Amazon.jp price. Ignoring the situation is definitely going to add credibility to your temporal pseudo-deputy service.

Please tell me how this gives you the right to speak for others.

Can't you guys just make a WHY ELIXIR SUCKS/WHY ELIXIR DOESN'T SUCK thread and post there instead? I wanna hear about games, not about how much some loser hates someone he saw on the internet once.

Is this typical for this forum?

Found something, while confirming my price comparisons: http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/product/detail/3903200

Amazingly. I mean I don't know a lick of Japanese according to rancor. Anyway this is actually below Amazon.jp's price, only slightly though. The book is 1200 yen (for online members) and shipping is 1200 yen by EMS. The title's in Japanese but HMV ship internationally. I've personally used HMV before and they're pretty good.

Apparently, something that the OP forgot to mention, was that this also includes material from RebRank (Samidare) and SITERSKAIN (Kamui, ALLEYXSECOND) doujin shmup developers, not just ZUN.

I've been here for a little over a month, and it's the first I've seen of it. Everyone has gotten along so well before a few nasties chimed in with unsolicited opinions and personal attacks.

personally, I'd like to see him banned for this comment alone:

It kind of sucks that a post that's already been reported can't be reported again. That seems it would temper the forum's reaction to certain folks posts.

I mean I guess if I'm a mod and I get a report on a post, I probably ignore it. It seems to be what happens here.

But perhaps if I got 50 reports on a post I might bother to do something. And if this was a pattern for a particular user than maybe something would get done and the community might be a better place.

So much for getting back on topic.

Mods can see deleted posts. You might want to think about that before making verbally abusive posts, deleting them, and then claiming it should be bannable.

I'll just take this opportunity to clarify a few things:

When a moderator draws the line of where the discussion completely unrelated to the thread's topic ends, that line will be respected. There will be no last quips or attempts to get the final word in. It ends right there. Or, like what happened here, people get mandatory cool-off periods and/or PMs.

Also, personal attacks against other members will not be tolerated. rancor's allowed to ask the price he wants without getting harassed (polite criticism is of course allowed, but that didn't happen here), Elixir's allowed to have a japanese blog just the same. And so on. Live and let live.
