Multisync CRTs are great for MAME since you can natively run all frequencies without conversion, e.g. Raiden Fighters in 54Hz, MVS in 59,1Hz. That's a real benefit compared to all LCD sets out there on which you either have to frame-convert to 60Hz or speed up the game to 60Hz.

Also a lag-free CRT with a 2-frame delay processor is still as fast a 2-frame delay LCD with a lagfree processor like the XRGB.

IF I had the space, I'd gather CRTs all around me....

Hi guys,
My Fw900 just died last week. It was going out of focus occasionally with a slight buzzing noise then pop back into focus.
I went to turn it on last week and got a pop and a small flash.
Now it won't start. It will just try and startup up and shut off 3 times In a row.

Someone said it is the high voltage transformer?

Anyone know a place in Toronto that can repair it?
