And the best one (check out the boss!):

Now I feel sorry passing up the DC version of this game

That would be... Shubibinman 3! Great game, action all the way through, and some fun shooting stages.SheSaidDutch wrote:Ah damn I cant remember the name but I remember playing the sequal to a PCE Megaman Clone..
As far as I know there are two shmup levels in this game. I can only reach level 3-5 with 1cc, so there might be more.SPACE HARRIER wrote: In Adventures of Batman and Robin (MEGADRIVE/GENESIS) there is some kind of R-TYPE level..Did somebody played it??

Has a great shmup level. Reminds of Salamander.
No you're wrong, it's perfectly balanced. At least, it was for its time, it had the right learning curve. I think the real problem is that the more skilled we get playing and playing, the more "hardcore" stuff we demand. But the masterworks must be planned to be appreciated right on from the Joe that picks up a game boy for his first time.Dylan1CC wrote:Best platformer vehicle levels next to Alex Kidd.Turrican wrote:The unforgettable Super Mario Land (GB)...The submarine and sky pop battles rule. The PS version has a REAL BIG adventure mode with lots of minigames and beat 'em up sections. The Bullet Dodger wrote:D wrote:Jojo's Venture (Capcom) for PlaystationONE or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for the Dreamcast. Can't remember which one.

Really? Wow. And here I thought it was just another fighting game from Capcom. Is the shmup level found in the original 'Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure', or in 'Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage For The Future'?

But the PS version is only Jojo's Venture.
The DC also has a adventure mode, but smaller and almost only beat 'em up sections.
Then again the DC version has Jojo's venture AND Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Get 'em both if they're not that expensive.
They are very unknown, but great nevertheless.
I mean they ARE after all Capcom fighting games. It is the least known series. I stumbled upon this series and was amazed I didn't notice it before.
Oh well I still don't know for sure which one has the shmup section, but I'm leaning toward the PS version.
