Even though H- games arnt my cup of tea (and a rape game is abit sick imo), Japan should tell all those busybodying western do-gooders to f-off and leave their culture alone. I for one are sick and tired of westerners who think the rest of the world should be the same as them. How would they like it if the muslim countries got onto the western governments for selling porn or even bay watch in american and europian stores. Fucking hipocrites
(incase this has already been mentioned) I havent read the last few posts) but last year i read from varius sources on the net that the Japan government has banned certain themed (inc rape, lolis, and other mildish porn types) H-Games from been exported outside Japan. But i guess that doesnt stop these things from getting onto the net.
I half agree with this. I generally think any game promoting rape as an activity or goal is completely irresponsible and defending it as a 'cultural' eccentricity is a little short sighted.
But I do agree the west is full of hypocrisy, especially as US pornography is pretty much a depiction of real sexual abuse. I guess gangbanging mentally scarred women and throat-fucking teens is cool because it ain't virtual.
If you want mis-information you ain't gotta go much further than the news.
Even i think the game is damn sick and wish it was never made let alone sold. I also think it is up to Japan what it sold in Japanese stores. While rape lay is too much for me i understand that every country is different in what they perceeve as normal and taboo (when it comes to porn) like comaring the UK to USA we have page 3 girls in many of our main newspapers (light porn normally showing her tits and/or in a sexy pose) but on the other hand even our top shelf porn will sometimes black out parts of the genatels if the picture is showing 2 people in intercourse while in the USA nothing is censored for the XXX stuff.

Where could I E-mail or mail to if I want to address my ideas and Opinions?
I don't know why in the world I'm downloading the game right now. Honestly I want to see what the whole fuss is about and see the stupid endings (more on that later).
Someone out there, at least one person, is going to be initially offended by this and these types of games, then download it out of curiosity, and then suddenly have a newfound interest in H-games
I applaud CNN for their media coverage to unintentionally garner more fans to this beautiful genre.
RapeLay sounds pretty boring and vanilla to me, actually, aside from the rape part which is just crappy. In any case I'm highly offended that there isn't a hill full of Japz waiting to be flamed and dynamite blasted out because we all know preparing to for WWII is why people play FPSes (half of D-Day soldiers were time traveling tourists you see)

Maybe they need to stop playing and start talking to girls?
They find raping easier than talking. Talking is awkward.
Awesome quote.
seconded its worthy to be on a sig.
I hav'nt tried rapeplay but ive once tried out a h game called Disipline just to see what exatly they were about. All i found was the story aspects just pics of girls shown over one of a small number of generic looking backgounds. I found the sex scenes to be anything but sexy. Just pictures of sex poses with sounds of some women faking a orgasm (must be a intresting job). All the sex scenes had loads and loads of money shots, which always seemed to take up a large part of the sex scenes. I dont know if its a Jap thing as to why there was so much spunking over tits and faces or the reason they used em so much was that was the only action the devs could come up with. Anyway mild amusment turned to loaving when a fellow school boy got turned into a he-she (or she-he i always get mixed up)and u had to give him a BJ or something worse.
Personally i find people getting turned on by such trash or anything like it to be very funny.
I cannot believe that this news is being posted here, nor can I believe that they have decided to resurrect such old news, nor understand why people are discussing this.

"One of my concerns is that kids never generally hear of this kind of stuff unless it gets this kind of publicity, unfortunately." Finally, someone who isn't screaming for censorship.

Lock.
Are your knickers in a twist or something?
It would be nice if people talked about news the same fucking year it came out.
i was under the impression that the CNN vid is recent and that its CNN who is rehashing old news? unless the thread op is posting an old video from last year
edit: just checked and the vid was posted 5 days ago, so its new news even though its old news (if u catch my drift)
