On one of my scart cables (I have 3) I did the full rewiring with the result of a dim and not sharp picture. On another cable I just disconnected the yellow wire to pin 16 with the same results. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you need to get more than one saturn!

I actually do have 2 saturns and both do the same thing. I love the way the untouched cable looks, unfortunately I can't play the game because it blanks out way too frequently. I guess I will try s-video next if I can't figure this one out. I hear that an argos swithbox might fix the problem. Does anybody know of a good alternative switchbox to use in the United States? Maybe somebody knows of a good monitor to use in the United States that has a scart connection built in?
