Adding Feedbacker to this list. Boris is excellent and a little schizophrenic. Look out for Tides - Resurface, too.

"Winnipeg Is A Frozen Shithole" is better in my opinion, but that album is great. Is that the one with the 8-bit song?

I just bought some headphones yesterday, and they are decidedly lo-fi. $30 Sony ones. I like, though, that they have volume control because I can use them with my supergun and finally hear some of the gaming music I've been missing. Without volume control, way, way too loud.

Neat to see Goblins listed by some. I don't listen to their music outside of watching Argento's (and Dawn of the Dead) films but liked what I heard.

I don't feel like making a list of 15 albums, I'd always forget something. Basically, most of my favorite albums have Jah Wobble playing on them.

Not sure I could name a top 15, and I'd kill myself trying to pick a single top album, but I've really appreciated these over the past several years:
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Parliament - Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome
The Roots - Phrenology
Zebrahead - MFZB
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
John Frusciante - Shadows Collide with People
Okkervil River - The Stage Names/The Stand Ins (two albums released individually that form one concept album - think Kill Bill)
The Beatles - Abbey Road or Magical Mystery Tour
Elvis Costello - My Aim is True
Alice in Chains - Alice in Chains or Jar of Flies
Sean Price - Monkey Barz
Rancid - And Out Come the Wolves

...hell that's as many as I can come up with right off... but that's a pretty solid list right there, as far as I'm concerned.

Ha ha, I may be an elitist metal head bastard (scratch that, I am an a elitist metal head bastard), but I've also been playing sax for a while and think Coltrane is the best goddamn sax player I've heard. I don't dig too much jazz, but at times the genre approaches transcendental and that album for me is the apex of what jazz should be. But my opinion is kinda whack, if it isn't evil as fuck I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

I did snort coffee in a good way when I saw one of the most out reaching and celebratory religious albums listed amongst the Satan worship.

If you like that I urge you to listen to Charles Mingus' The Black Saint and the Lady Sinner, which is another jazz suite album that easily equals, or maybe even surpasses, Coltrane's effort.
