If only more people realized this!

btw, I don't even think it is available (officially) in the US.
A few years ago I know it wasn't, I had to order a copy from Canada.

Straight Story was definitely available in the US as I owned a copy at one point on DVD. It is a good film, but for me it was a film I only needed to see once.

I just saw Rabbits. I'm not sure if I like it. It is 11:34 pm. It is dark outside. [canned laughter]

These were the clips used in Inland Empire, right? Did he create this first as a series and then cut it up?

Speaking of Inland Empire, I really need to see that one again. I'm not sure it is a good movie, or even a movie at all, but it it 3 hours of Lynch doing what he does in top form. Wish I'd seen it in the theatre.

He did the Rabbits shorts first, possibly before Inland Empire was conceptualized, but whatever the case he thought they fit in the movie so he put them in. I think they'resupposed to be a product or association of that weird group that sits around the table in the dark, there's some correlation there. Like I said before, Inland Empire is definitely David Lynch Ultra Mega Black Label Mode.
