Arena Based Shooter Advice
Re: Arena Based Shooter Advice
After reading into this thread a bit, I dug up my Sanvein copy and played a bit... for about 10 minutes. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea but, is this game regarded as a good?

For the price, it ain't bad. I picked up my copy for 2.50 sealed on Ebay. From a sheer quality standpoint, you can't expect too much because its a Simple Series game.ZOM wrote:After reading into this thread a bit, I dug up my Sanvein copy and played a bit... for about 10 minutes. Onto arena shooters here are some doujin titles (never played em though)
Apocalypse DEUS EX MACHINA (supposed tobe a decent smash tv clone with anime H plot included)
Bullet Candy
Cyclops (youre ship stays in the middle of the screen rotating and shooting the enemies)
Debrysis
Engage to Jabberwock (character arena shooter that looks really good)
Grid Wars 1 & 2 (geometry wars clone)
Echoes
Quantasm
Torque (freeware)
Winged Gear (freeware cross between a spaceship shmup and smash tv)
these are not strictly arena shooters more like zelda with bullets. All are found on Steam.
Larva Mortus
Alien shooter 1 (2d) and 2 (in 3d)
Shadow grounds 1 and 2
