I think this is the most helpful/friendly forum I've ever frequented.

Through much deliberation, I've decided to buy. :)

I can't wait to pick it up, and start ordering parts, and doing re-finishing :D

"You will regret it if you don't buy it."

... That's ran through my head all day. It shall be mine!

News to me, and i've been here for 22 years. There are more, just not very often.

I bought my Astro in Miami (12 hours away, despite being in FL), and my Aero in Detroit.

the prices went up on them and to be honest they were all pretty shitty. i bought three of them (2) non working (1) working and the working machine arrived with a dead monitor. with a lot of TLC they can end up looking amazing, but generally all need a new monitor, harnesses, panel, buttons/sticks, etc etc. regardless of the fact that missing parts can be ridiculously expensive to replace. they also look like they were stored outside.

Plastic, i have an extra service door for a Blast if for some reason you didn't get one (pretty sure you did though as the pic shows it). i'll look around to see if i have any extra parts, but i think your cab is relatively complete.

Looks like I may have to make one. PM'd about it, though.

Does anyone know if it's remotely possible to buy Blast City decals? I want to have this repainted white by an auto body shop, but not if I can't find replacement decals. I've also heard it's somewhat frowned upon to repaint candies... ? I'd rather not commit sacrilege.

Finally - I KNOW I saw this somewhere. Is there a store, or place I can buy complete control panels? Looks like I'll need all the buttons/sticks, after all, as I still want to finish my Supergun.

you can buy sticks and buttons online, here's two amazing places...

http://www.southtown-homebrew.com/

http://www.lizardlick.com/

i've got that panel if you want it and you can just fill it up with hardware. otherwise you can get a Sanwa replacement panel on ebay from here

http://cgi.ebay.com/JAPAN-SANWA-TWO-Pla ... 1|294%3A50

depending on what button layout you want, 6 buttons per side or 4 per side (as with my panel)

nice thing about that ebay auction is you get the harnesses it looks like. though they aren't mentioned in the "included list"

there is a member here or on arcade otaku who makes replacement decals. here's his website...
http://mcs-arcade.com/osc/index.php?cPath=2

anymore questions?
