Games that should have get a sequel ?

I do know of a prequel.

Zanac X Zanac seems to be more of a pure shmup and doesn't have the same mixed gameplay TGL does. (I had to check Wikipedia just to be sure I was remembering that right.) It would be interesting to play by itself, but it's not a proper sequel to TGL.

The prequel might be an interesting curiosity, but from what I've seen on it so far, it's gameplay is so dated, that it's like trying to go back to Midi-Maze after playing Doom 3.
