Is it really that bad? I've got it for the Gamecube but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I must admit I bought it solely because it said Sega and Sonic Team on the box.

Billy Hatcher's multiplayer isn't terrible, there are just too few levels. Figure out the controls before dismissing it.

With all the 3rd-party shovelware on the Wii, Billy Hatcher 2 would have been welcome in my household at least.

I enjoyed Billy Hatcher.
There were a few aggravating sections, like running on top of an egg that is rolling down some roller-coaster tracks.
Overall it is a very pleasant game to play.
