I may pick it up just to help me with some words and maybe even sentence structure.

You should get an English dictionary first. :p

I get the feeling this'll be quite rubbish, but I'll wait to hear more opinions on it.
(Already messing around with Kanken DS 2 and Bimoji Training, so I have enough Japanese language games on the go at the moment.)

Up to lesson 14 already. I was surprised at most of the stuff I already knew, just cannonballing in ice water with Far east of Eden: Fu'un Kabuki Den for the PC Engine without even thinking about not getting the story paid off

I was actually able to halfway read a random Japanese YouTube comment and I was like "oh shit!"

Time to take those baby steps with my 8-bit Famicom RPG's.

lol'd

So what's the verdict? Shit, decent, etc.? I probably won't buy it (passed it and OoE up at Gamestop last week), but I'm curious.

Good for complete beginners so far. Haven't seen enough yet (it has a zillion lessons) to see how advanced it may get.

It does make you learn kana and eventually (I think) Kanji. So yay. :D :D
