I actually always hated Lost from the first episode.
I hate the whole: we the creators like to keep you in suspense approach and like to keep you guessing. It makes no sense at all.
Also the stupid supposedly thriller music when nothing happens.
Stupid freaking flash backs. Good bunch of actors though and nice setting/scenery, but the story and the approach I stand above that. I am not some dumb consumer you can be let in suspense in this way. I'm kind of curious, but too annoyed at the approach to watch it. It comes as no surprise that so many people like it. Good business strategy from the creators, I'll give 'em that much!

I think it's amusing that it's basically the opposite of daytime "dishwashing" shows, the kind intended to have plots that still make sense while you're off doing something else. At the end of every act the heroes face most certain doom?!?!

They're moving it to the Friday Night Death slot. Maybe it's not as big a deal as I've taken it on first blush, maybe nerds really do have a lot of free Fridays as demonstrated by the X-Files 10,000 years ago...

But it is FOX, this season has been doing about as well/bad as Prison Break, and the the thing costs a kabillion dollars an episode. I'm adhering to the "canceled until a third season is announced" philosophy. Miracles do have to happen sometimes, I suppose.

With the talk of cancelled shows I have decided to wade through CBS Jericho thats been sitting on my hard drive for two years.

Never bothered watching the show when broadcast on ITV4 here in UK.

This reminds me of how La Femme Nikita was great until season 4. They introduced Quinn and all that "who is Mister Jones" crap and random episodes started looking like Star Trek. It was like they were desperate to get more viewers any way they could. Bah. At least it got to end graciously at the end of season 5.

You knew Nikita was having problems when they gave Michael a last name.

It disappoints me that the same people behind Nikita went on to make 24. Not that 24 is unremittingly terrible, but it's basically a more mainstream Nikita with bits from today's headlines pasted in for relevance.
