Here's the complete list of crazy names of the end-stage bosses found in the G-Darius PCB iteration with the usual fish and other various aquatic sealife but having been fortified with exotic armor and insane weaponry:Master O wrote:Of course! How many shmups let you blast away at robotic fish with crazy nicknames?Matsunaga wrote:G Darius was released today in the JPSN store for psp. I've never played a darius game, is this worth buying?
Eclipse Eye
Tripod Sardine
Queen Fossil -- Is one of the biggest bosses featured in the G-Darius game. Practically dwarfs the player's ship easily (especially when some fin-mounted laser cannons that make their appearance are bigger and longer than your ship).
Dual Horn
Dimensional Diver -- has cool graphical effects showcasing this boss existing in two different parellel universes at the same time whilst fighting you is beautiful, especially on the original PCB interation. Reminds me of some the cool mechanized monsterousities from the Gojira/Godzilla films from Toho. In fact, Taito does give Toho credit for using it in this G-Darius game. Gotta pay respect and tribute to Toho. After all, they're the ones started it all. ^_~
Absolute Defender
Fire Fossil -- different colored variant of Queen Fossil boss
Death Wings
Eightfeet Umbrella
Eternal Triangle
Lighting Coronatus
Heavy Arms Shell
The Embryon -- is more of an abstract type of boss that has nothing to do with sealife whatsoever. Pretty trippy polygonal backgrounds to admire at.
Accordion Hazard
Great Thing -- is sometimes referred to as "G.T." Is a huge mechanized whale and has been blessed with weapons galore!
Pretty off-the-wall names if you were to ask me. ^_~
