Someone told me the other day they might not vote for Obama, because they don't want a president who is going to get assasinated.

And that Obama monkey toy, people buy that shit.

@antron: sorry, never heard of it.
@lordstar: while that what you say IS true, go ask joe everyman what he knows about germany. first thing will be hitler, second maybe BMW or Mercedes Benz, that's about it. and that's what makes me so sensitive about it.

I found it not on i-mockery, but in the mag64.de forums (fun thread).
@elfhentaifan: i totally understand your problem with it. with all nazi-stuff in general. i even freak out when people say we should have "national pride" or something. they always refer to america when they say that.
i can't feel proud for germany. (and i think same should go out to america. invading small nations is not cool.)
I agree with you. Only an idiot would have pride in a nation. Why not have pride in the people of that nation itself? Or just people in general? Drawing distinctions between nations is perhaps inherently racist in itself.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out. i can be proud of something i have personally accomplished. however, with being born in a random nation i have achieved nothing. ;)

A nation isn't necessarily a race. I am proud of the US constitution. The freedom from religion thing was pretty bold. Deists, got'a love'm.

You'd have to put in every Tom Clancy game not made by Red Storm Entertainment.
but vegas is okay because the guy who hates immigrnts is a turncoat

also, I am offended this list was made. I've seen some of the items in it before.

Also, #10 is scary looking, like a burned skull with eyes popping out.

We have something like that in Milwaukee, although it only covers select racism in America. It's called the "Black Holocaust Museum".

Most of the list was pretty good, although 7 and 8 weren't racist. It's kind of disappointing that our nation considers making fun of any black person "racism".
This is not similation. Get ready to destoroy the enemy. Target for the weak points of f**kin' machine. Do your best you have ever done.

I don't believe number 6 is racist at all. I had to actually read the description and think about it for the longest time before even considering it slightly tasteless.

Even then it was more "hey I had an ancestor who died that way!" offended rather than "OMG black guy=racist."

I'm not getting the History X reference!

We will always have lunatics who will believe in the pureness of races just like we still have lunatics who believe in the pureness of an almighty god.

I hardly think posters like doodude and fighter17 are lunatics. These guys aren't alone either. They just seem crazy to us because they are venturing outside of their tiny cocoons of hate where their behavior is praised rather than criticized.

Looks more like Bush to me, actually.

I never really appreciated the silly editorial cartoons which exaggerated his features - I guess those are made for people who need Cliffnotes to his Administration and who didn't notice the decline of the rule of law during his time. I mean, it's like making fun of a clown - it's already funny without it.

I'm not really fond of Obama's treatment of satire in the media either. He vetted making fun of his ears some time ago (apparently), but now when New Yorker magazine pokes fun at the distortions and fears of the electorate with a cover, he's carefully cultivating outrage out of fear that people will take the cover as truth. It would've been better to ignore it, really.

Reminds me of...whatever that famous black character from Mexico (I think it was) that gets protested now and then.

There's far worse toys out there but this is just a lazy blogger letting the 'net and their sense of self-righteousness take over the keyboard for them. Doing more research would have upset the reason for writing the piece in the first place.

Most of them are rubbish, mate. There was an FPS called Ethnic Cleansing released by a racist record label called Resistance, and as well as being a low-brow non-event in terms of controversy, it was an absolutely dire game to play.

It's funny that white supremacist artistic ventures hardly ever show anything to suggest that whites are competent in a particular area, let alone superior to anybody else...

I've heard Triumph of the Will and The Birth of a Nation were actually groundbreaking films. That's probably it.

It doesn't help that being racist if you're white used to be what made you considered to be normal in the USA

If you get a chance, you should really check them out. They are brilliant films in terms of film making practice. Of course, they are thematicaly vile.

Bloody Hell!

Actually, there is a traditional dance done in the UK, related to 'morris dancing', called the Mummas Play. Hundreds and hundreds of years old. Being Pagan, it was made illegal, again, hundreds of years ago, so the dancers would black their faces up to hide their identity - apparently not racist in any way, and still practiced today. Another Pagan festivity, since hijacked by Guy Fawkes night which occurs on the same day, sees a huge bombfire in a town once local to me in my youth, and blacking up of faces is again done to hide ones involvement. I've neever been though.

On the subject of national pride, it's always confused me why people associate with lines drawn on maps rather than with people as a whole. Ah well...

I'm sure Triumph of the Will is groundbreaking in terms of cinematography but as a film its like watching paint dry.
