Somebody post a Mars Matrix score or something to bring Rob back. The forum's not the same without Rob around to make fun of everybody and everything.

Arrogant Bastard left as well. Lotsa folks. AB left around the time Fighter17 was kicked out- though I doubt it was related.

He surely is missed. He had a lot of good info on games, and he could be very funny without going to the retard-zone like a friend of ours who has been recently banned.

It's a real shame when people leave, but I guess there's a steady influx of new-comers, or so it seems.

I did see Rob post today though. Met Icarus in real life and it's a real shame he doesn't frequent here anymore. I never realised Arrogant Bastard had actually thrown in the towel? All the more reason to increase the community spiriti I guess, to stop any others slipping through Shmups Forum's fingers!

I guess that happens on every forum that last as longs as this one has been lasting. I used to be one of the top posters from another forum nearly as old as this one, and I haven't posted there for ages - Except when I found out one of the guys there had passed away - and then I found out many of the regulars there had also dropped, but many of the others regulars were still around there... and a couple of the regulars I knew there also had been "promoted" to mods, while a couple of old moderators had gone. At the same time, there were a lot of new faces who had become the "big posters" from the forum.

I guess the same happens here, and probably on every other forum. I've been here since about 99, and I do know there are a lot more of users who used to post regularly and are long gone.
