Davek, that looks a little bit like heaven - is it in a basement? It's kitted out beautifully (love the posters - I believe it was yourself who did a little guide I read somewhere for custom framing on the Galuda 2?)

Alec, those cabs look brand new  Did you have them all resprayed?

It fit in the cab a little too angled, and amazingly enough, the lens makes it appear perfectly tipped up. It also amazingly hides all sorts of garbage: the filtering of MAME ran on a medium res monitor, geometry that's a little bad on one side. It looks very organic and is fun to play on.
Cool. I have a 20" monitor in one of my cabs. Perhaps it's time to dust of my fresnel lense for that one and bump it up to a 25". :P
American arcade manufacturer, Mylstar, used fresnel lens on their sitdown Mach1 laserdisc arcade cabinets back in 1984. Quite dramatic when playing it back in the day. ^_~

Thanks. There are no basements in California, but it is my garage, so close enough. And yes, I did write a blog post on how to frame japanese B1 (and larger) posters cheaply.

Safe to assume there are sentry guns on the outside guarding a half mile radius?

Those are some freaking lucky babies in the first few pics.

I just hope they don't think the sticks are lollipops.

Great stuff guys. How do you afford all this?
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

Well, I've finally taken pictures of my basement which is a total mess as you will see. First up we have the pinball machines. A broken Whirlwind, one of the transistors is out and that killed the flippers, and the warhorse Rollergames. Bought that one off of Ebay and have never had a problem with it in over 5 years.

Image

Next up is a pile of PCB's

Image

Another pile of PCB's. I always forget I have this box of games until I look at my list of games.

Image

Bookshelf of PCB's and other bullshit

Image

more PCB's

Image

Finally, some cabinets to show. We have an Astro City and a Neo Geo 4 slot currently running Metal Slug 3, Strikers 1945 Plus, Zupapa, and Baseball Stars 2

Image

Next up is the mythical Sega Aero Table. I have Aurail setup inside of it currently.

Image

Finally another pile of shame. Not too sure what all is back here. I do know some weirdo shit like Dynamite Duke, Super High Impact Football, Quartet 2, and Empire City 1931 are somewhere on this shelf.

Image

Not picture is a Sega Aero City cabinet at Joe T.'s house. He lives across the street from me. Might have some updating to do on this as there is a SuperAuctions in town on Saturday and I just got a 0% APR for 1 year Credit Card, so game on!

Bruce Affleck has often commented to me at Blues games about how he covets such a rare item as a Puerto Rican Abdullah the Butcher highlight VHS. Easily the biggest gem amongst my PCB ruins.
