^that sums it up pretty well, but I see it more as a comparison chart than a absolute score chart (10 not meaning 10/10).
and in this case Gunbird 2 should be higher than 10, maybe 12 or so.

Well I dont find the first four levels of GB 2, DB, Strikers 2, Strikers 1999 boring. And I havn't played ZG2 THAT muchIn 75% of shmups first 4 levels a boring after some practice.

Because it's very long, full of retardedly cheap attacks you have no chance of surviving on reflex alone, and looks uninspired and similar to other Psikyo fantasy-themed games? Just taking a guess. 
FYI, I don't have fun playing a supposedly manic game that, instead of relying on your ability, requires you to memorize timing of all the attacks and their blind spots in order to make any progress. Some people like it, I don't.

The vast majority of people disliking Psikyo games are simply uninformed. I'd say Psikyo went wrong with their horizontal games, other than that they were really solid with some standout perfect games. Rob's chart is pretty accurate.
