Yeah, this was one of my thoughts, too. But it's not right. Maybe it is something like the little buggy in Tiger Heli...

The little buggy appears if your number of shots fired since the start of the game is divisible by 16. The first one is easy--destroy every target up to the railroad (including both railroad barriers) with one shot and it'll appear. The later ones are pretty much dumb luck, especially if you go for the other 10000 point easter egg in stage 1.

I know. My point is: maybe it is a similar system in Flying Shark.

Is this thread still being maintained? My score from weeks ago hasn't been added...

Sorry about that AWJ, I know I saw your score, but my computer's being weird and I think it must've shut off as I was about to edit the post or something...at any rate, it's done now.

Yeah, I finally looped it yesterday! It was a great fealing after all. ^_^

797530 - Area 142.

But I recognized today that some of the dips were changed since I played it before during our last arcade meeting. So I think the score might not be counting for the highscore table. Could somebody please tell me what dip-settings and difficulty setting/bonus playes/extend are the default ones?

Best Regards

all the dip switches should be off for default settings.

default:
- normal/medium difficulty
- 1 coin = 1 credit = 3 ships
- first extend at 50,000 and then every 150,000

link

belated edit: changed url

Thanks for the answer. Well, I think not all the dips are off and I think there have been more than three ships. So please don't count my score for the highscore table.

BTW: Yesterday I played again and got 1.034.410 (area 170) 8) . I have to try this again with the 100% correct dip settings.

Regards

DEL - 1,673,480 - Area 299 - PCB - Flying Shark

I tried it again yesterday and lost my first life at 970,000, but I ended up dying at that nasty spot on loop 3's sea/battleship stage. The bit where you die time and time again as your new life appears. This bit is so bad that immediate bombing doesn't save you. Until I figure out a safe route for that bit of loop 3, I'm gonna give this game a miss.
My mate UBN's 24 loop 12mil score is under no threat whatsoever  .

Looks like tomtom has gone, my measly score from April 2007 hasn't been added to the rankings.
