Now, off to review this new Space War thingie.
This was not a stereotypical review with a grade system as I haven't completed it yet to have a final objective opinion!
I just expressed my thoughts based on what I've seen so far. So I wasn't sure if it did belong in the reviews section to begin with!

But, in what way have I not been polite?!
Or been offensive for that matter?!!!

And what’s the problem with all you people, being sarcastic for bringing up an old shooter?!
Surely, I know that the majority of you have played it before, but this is a Shmup forum is it not?!
I bet it has something to do with young ages and minds.

We're being sarcastic because you made a rather shallow and bubbly review of a game that A.) is four years old B.) received a large-scale world release and C.) is quite well known on the forum already.
Don't take it personally.

You've post a "review" in a general chat topic. That's a tad unpolite and no, nobody is dead because of this nor it is justified by the continuous amount of bullshit posted in other threads (which is off-topic, of course). Certainly, if you want come up with a review, you know where to post it, don't you? After all, adult people know how to organize content according to the contigent rules of etiquette, in a certain situation.

If you still want to deny anything and pretend nothing is wrong with your post, you need a shrinker (like 98% of people, if that consoles you...). I can't practice online, at any case.

Love XOXOXO

This forum needs more pic-laden posts, btw

Please, try to carefully read word by word (if that's easier for you), what I said above.
Don't take it personally.

This is all a bit over the top. It might have been out of date, but all ST did was post some big old pics of a game most of us love with his comments.

It surprised me when I saw it too, perhaps because it came across with so much enthusiasm it felt like ST was showing off a new game when it was in fact something old, but I'm sure there's worse things you can do on a forum.

Made me sit down and play it a bit last night anyway, which was nice.

All I wanted was just to express how much fun and enjoyment I got from the game so far, with the hope that there will be a sequel on the PS-3, not show off about any damn new game!!!

Some people here are just too young minded and should go on posting at gamefaqs, or ign.
Seriously what are you people doing here in the 1st place?

"Shmups Chat" abounds with reviews of any kind. Be them first impressions, hands-on, detailed afterthoughts and so on. There's no reason to be aggressive - he reviewed the game, but not in a form which he thought was penned enough to deserve a "publication" in the review section.

He wasn't impolite, in short. While you are annoying, as usual. All's right with the world.

I like pretending it's a "VI" in the topic title before clicking. That first image becomes THE FUTURE IS NOW.

I was not aggressive, but politely pointing out where it's better to put the final version. If one puts things in the proper place, it's easier to find them, much to the benefit of everyone. The sky hasn't fallen because of this (as I pointed out in the first post), but if one politely suggests something (while everyone else is unpolite...learn to read, for once) it shows a poor display of comprehension. You also suffer from Capgras syndrome, I reckon!

Evidently this is not a Gradius game. It is nothing more than a lame knockoff by Treasure.

You know better than me, as ST Dragon knows, as everyone here pointed out, that his "review" wasn't nearly as fleshed out to be considered a "proper" one. That doesn't mean it's not final. He doesn't need to "finish" it, or maybe rewrite it from scratch, just to post it there.

You know, if this thread didn't have the word "review" in its title, but was titled something like:

"ZOMG!! GRADIUS V is really good!"

No one would've raised an eyebrow. In short, we're discussing for nothing.

The actual content of ST Dragon post is a ZOMG content, therefore more suited to be in shmups chat rather than in review section.

I agree, but again, my initial post was "Ehi, not the best idea around, why you don't expand it in the proper section?". Out of countless insults, the original author of this post yelled against the most polite one (mine, not pure etiquette but decent). That's disgraceful, and insisting on such a point is a display of "pathological" pride. I could certainly point out cases for shrinkers on this board, but that would really be overkill...

That, and there is no Gradius V review around. Or have I become blind...?

It came across as polite to me mate.

And the 'review' got me back into playing over and over, getting my new high-score last night.

ST. I think expanding it would be a great idea if there really is no GV review.

Am I the only one who thinks Gradius IV is way better and that gradius V is pretty boring

I also hate the way they make you wait for 50 seconds at the beginning of stage 2, way to break the pace...
