Is Japan excluded from this thread? well just incase its not. .
When i was in JP i spent a lot of time in Yeah! akihabara, Tokyo a whole floor dedicated to shmups. Also packed with lots of people ready for a game of just about any 2D fighter going. but not huge cues so you get a game quickly :D

There are some decent arcades near me. Funspot is about an hour or so north. Tokyo Game Action is an hour west. Salisbury beach and Hampton beach have maybe 5 or 6 arcades between them. Im not sure about Boston...anyone know if there are any good arcades in Boston?

This is typical Dave K. humor at his best... ^_~

Yeah, such an arcade with some sexy and busty strippers -- an interesting combination indeed. ^_~

Your offer of hot dogs sounds tempting, sven. A really good hot dog is one with piled high with relish, ketchup, mustard and a good heaping of onions -- a nice 'n' long hot dog dressed up with American condiments if you will.

Some shmuppers will ask, what about tacos instead? I'm sure some arrangement could be made to accomodate both foods. Or the ol' standby of pizza works wonders for such hungry folks. Lol. ^_~

tacos, while delicious, are way to sloppy for a home shmeet with 20guys wandering around your kitchen, imagine the mess!

pizza works but is just too common, no hotdogs are the perfect snack for shmeets.
easy to make, clean (you eat all of it, no dishes!), and you can leave them on the stove for hours on end without them going bad or needing attention, relativeley cheap aswell - $50 worth will feed a dozen people without problem!

Yes, such roasted unions hold a great value, even after digestion.

You meant "roasted onions", right? Onions are definitely edible and unions, you can join them but they ask for union dues at the time of sign-up. ^_~
