rofl! I had to pick this back up again last night after reading through this thread. I love playing 2 players in this though so i actually convinced my girlfriend to sit down and have a go at it and by the end of Queen Fossil she had to quit because she felt like she was going to throw up from motion sickness. Poor girl, she couldn't handle it.

We should get together one day and play it, CF. And I curse you all for making me get this game. The Embryon is kicking my ass.

By the way, I tried doing the "fire your Alpha Beam and hold the rapid fire button to win the duel" as posted earlier, and didn't work. Maybe because this is the japanese version...

Just hold the button that you used to chage the beam in the first place. No need to switch buttons.

And by far the Queen Fossil Battle is the schtuff!

i uh... just use autofire at the beam points now. Hey, when i first 1 life'd it i just had a regular ps1 controller - not even dual shock, so i'm allowed.

Yeah, Embryon is a tough bastid. Died alot in this game!

I love the stage great cliffs where you can see the remains of titanic lance in the back ground and granulated star is pretty cool with the planet killer, wish it was a boss, cool the way it fires at absolute defender.

I wouldn't say those are Titanic Lance's "remains", not when this game takes place well before Darius Gaiden does. Apparently that's one Thiima that DOESN'T have a short life span (on the other hand, short compared to what?).

Well, it used to be on the old board. However, I'm working on a completely new iteration, now that I have more information on the nature of the Thiima. That, and I plan to separate THIS one into 13 or 26 episodes. There are still some elements I plan to keep from my previous chart, though (e.g. the original inhabitants of Mabaher--that is, st. 4--being the Thiima's creators, Belser originally being an important official in the Amnelian government who ultimately makes a devil's deal with the Mabaher Intelligence).
