Haven't we been through this? The game is going to be on NAOMI.ill6 wrote:Do Club Sega have WII cabs?GaijinPunch wrote:08.26 & 08.27 at Club Sega Nishi Shinjuku.
One thing I'd like to add, Radirgy had a very quick turn-around time for the port. The final NAOMI game went into distribution in October of 2005. Two months later, in December, we got the official home-port announcement to DC. In February of 2006, we actually received the DC port. That's a meer four months between arcade release and DC homeport. So if the game is Loke Testing at the end of the month, it's safe to assume that October could very well be the arcade distro month.

Well if it isn't for NAOMI ,I'll bet it'll be on a triforce board.
One things for sure, you can expevt a Wii port. And I'll hope they'll do one to for you DC nuts.
In anycase I really should start playing Rajirugi,I have had the GC rev lying around the house since launch and only played it once, it's just I'm so busy with truxton and hellfire *sob*

G.rev did more than just work on the engines in fact. Lent some artwork as well as programming and were pretty much full-time team members for the later stages of development.dai jou bu wrote:Thank you for stating the obvious to me about G.Rev not equaling Treasure . G.Rev played a rolein creating the engines for Treasure's last two high-profile shmups, since the way the homing lasers flew in Ikaruga and Gradius V (I have never seen a Gradius boss fire homing lasers like they did in Border Down and Rayforce prior to Treasure's intervetion) and the amount of technical expertise required to pull off those fantastic scrolling effects could only come from Taito's old guard. I'd post the Gradius V credits too, but I'm having problems getting my scanner to work at the moment. =\

If this isn't a sequel to Radirgy I hope they're keeping the style consistent -- as in I hope they don't make the enemies non-cel shaded, `cause the explosions are.
so long and tanks for all the spacefish

That definately looks like some sort of follow up to Radirgy-not just the ring, but the explosions look identical to Radirgy.Super Laydock wrote:^^ thanks for the link.
Pity it's so short and you can't see much...
But that ring... kinda like in Radirgy???
Hope we'll se some more soon!

That would be fucking sweet.
Think about it, years after the PS3 and 360 are dead, small shmup developers keep making DC shmups trying to be the company that makes "the last DC game". It would be awesome.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised; it would make a lot more sense for Japanese shmup developers to focus on the Dreamcast then on the XBOX 360, which has done so poorly in Japan.BulletMagnet wrote:Yeah, then GRev would have to develop something in order to try to make it the last game released again, and then Milestone would go for it anew after that, then GRev again...
