Ketsui doesn't let you upload anything from an American LIVE account, and if I remember correctly, ESPGaluda 2 didn't let you upload to leaderboards, either. Just like how marketplace content is restricted to people who have an account from that region, sometimes the leaderboards are too. I don't pay much attention, but I do remember when I first cleared Ketsui 360 and went to look at the leaderboard it gave me an error message about it.Elixir wrote:What? Yeah, I forgot you have to pick a specific mode to do that, and I really don't care. I usually look at leaderboards the first time I play and then stop caring after that.antares wrote:You have to play Score Attack respectively XBox Live Game FYI.

I went into gamestop yesterday to reserve mine and when i said desthsmiles, every employee in there had the same response "wtf IS that!" and by that, they meant they knew of it, but had no idea what it was and wanted to know. I told the manager (who knows i only reserve shmups and fighters) take a guess. his reply "is vert or hori this time?"

Wish I had that sort of luck, though I got the same question, saying "shmup" made them say "House of the Dead?" Had to say Raiden and Gradius before they knew what I was talking about. They sounded interested in getting the game themselves...though probably not so much after they see the goth lolis replacing their thoughts of spaceships.nash87 wrote:I went into gamestop yesterday to reserve mine and when i said desthsmiles, every employee in there had the same response "wtf IS that!" and by that, they meant they knew of it, but had no idea what it was and wanted to know. I work part-time at Gamestop(I know, woe is me) and we currently have four reserves on Death Smiles. Granted two of them are mine but I'm responsible for talking the other two people into reserving it. I'm aiming for the most reserves on Death Smiles in the company so if anyone is near Avon CT come on down and throw a reserve on itnash87 wrote:I went into gamestop yesterday to reserve mine and when i said desthsmiles, every employee in there had the same response "wtf IS that!" and by that, they meant they knew of it, but had no idea what it was and wanted to know. If only Norwalk was closer, I'd definitely help you towards your goal.Engineer wrote:I work part-time at Gamestop(I know, woe is me) and we currently have four reserves on Death Smiles. The Gamestop I work at is somewhat of an anomaly.
Apparently the LE packaging for Aksys' Record of Agarest War is poorly designed and basically gets damaged at the factory. After learning this today, I actually pondered pre-ordering it at GS, after swearing to never pre-order a game from them again when they didn't honor a pre-order of mine several years ago. I'm still not sure if ordering from Amazon (and their shoddy packaging) is worth the risk. I guess in the end I shouldn't care and just worry about the game that's inside.
Re: Death Smiles coming to a North America near you! [Cave 2007]
Yeah the box Agarest War comes in is rather flimsy. We got two and both had tears. Would have been nice if Aksys had spent a little more on the actual packaging.Vectorman0 wrote:If only Norwalk was closer, I'd definitely help you towards your goal.

My copy of Agarest shipped from Amazon and it arrived in perfect shape. The big problem is that the box has a lot of empty space so other items in the box could press on it awkwardly and cause tears. If DS has the same kind of packaging, be safe and order it by itself.Vectorman0 wrote:If only Norwalk was closer, I'd definitely help you towards your goal.

I preordered it as well. The girl at gamestop had no clue what it was. When it said LE she was like "stop by before the release to ge tthe bonus content." I didn't feel like correcting her that it was all bundled together.
Re: Death Smiles coming to a North America near you! [Cave 2007]
I think she was hitting on you dude. Best to stop by early to collect that bonus from her personally.

Seriously though I can't wait to have the DS faceplate on my 360.

They tend to like 2-D games though.
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.
Re: Death Smiles coming to a North America near you! [Cave 2007]
I checked with Aksys regarding the size and weight of the LE package, if anyone cares.
The dimensions are as follows:
12 1/8 width, 5 1/5 height, and 2 depth (all inches).
The weight is unknown at this time.
Edit: For all you folks not living in the USA, inches are like centimeters but bigger.

Does anyone know where the cheapest place to pre order this is if you live outside the US ?

Videogamesplus.ca is CA$80 incl shipping to Europe (not including tax)
Amazon.com is US$100 incl shipping to Europe (including tax and express delivery).
Your best (and cheapest) shot to PM or Email Brent above and to ask if he's got a open slot for you. He offered to forward some DS LEs to non-US board members.

Most likely vgp's price is wrong, ask them to fix it. Agarest is bigger and cost me $15, which I'm still waiting on. Just be prepared to wait up to a month for it to arrive.Fudoh wrote:Videogamesplus.ca is CA$80 incl shipping to Europe (not including tax)

I can pick up some copies of this game and ship overseas as well if anyone's still looking and doesn't want to get ripped off by Amazon.

Inches are known outside the USA, at least here in the UK anyway. I've never heard anyone say " Yeah I've got 20 centimetres in my pants"brentsg wrote:

Trouble is, are you just over or under.. So if your like 6.15", do you upgrade yourself to 7"..
Sorry this is really off topic.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Here's another e-tailor selling the game, they state that it'll be 400g with the extra packaging to pad inside the shipping box, so I think it's safe to say this game box is under 1lbs.brentsg wrote:I checked with Aksys regarding the size and weight of the LE package, if anyone cares.

Re: Death Smiles coming to a North America near you! [Cave 2007]
While Axelmusic is usually nice for cheap imports, their packaging is really sub par. If you care for the game and the frontplate, the Axel price is fantastic, but if you care for the outer box and it's condition when it arrives, order somewhere else.
