The opening is just too badass.

Anime Tenchou needs an series, for fuck sake!
Imma check Blazing Transfer Student - that intro has a manliness level of 97% on the Shin Mazinger Z scale!

Kai - did you watch it on youtube? I can't 'find' it anywhere else :/

drauch wrote:Finished U-Jin's Tales Trilogy, consisting of the anthologies Tales of...Titillation, Misbehavior, and Sintillation.

The stories are all centered on perversion and sex, ranging from hilarious, disturbing, and even boring. The standout anthology is easily Titillation. Lots of character design and animation from Urushihara, so it automatically gets an A+ in my book. Funniest bit is "DANGER! A LARGE PERVERTED SALARY MAN IS APPROACHING," a Kaiju/magical girl superhero story of a perverted salary man who uses his power to lift up girl's skirts, only to ejaculate poisonous seed that melts everything around him. Magical girl Akko transforms and saves the day.

Tales of Misbehavior is also pretty fun, although one story, "The Match Vendor," is kinda depressing in a way. Tales of Sintillation is mainly boring, as six concise stories are shoved into 35 minutes, taking both a hit in the animation department, as well as in overall narrative and delivery. One standout tale, "Aim for the A! (Ace)", is an excellent parody of the tennis manga/anime, only with added perversion. Perfectly imitates the bold, exaggerated style of Aim for the Ace!

I'd at least recommend the first 70 minutes or so, and especially the Aim for the Ace! parody if one didn't want to bore through Sintillation. Or if you're a pervert.
Hahaha. I used to have the videos for these when they first came out in the early 90s! Suffice to say, there was no need for a translation as most of it was pretty self-evident and, yes, the Urushihara Satoshi/Earth Works segments were some of the best in the whole series... although the Pizza Delivery boy and School Nurse vignettes had their moments 8)

Really the only version floating around at the moment. All torrents are unseeded, strangely.

yeps - the only one I could find cryptically said 'Episode 1' and it wasnt seeded :(

the fact it was only ever on LD might have something to do with it - looks cool, - Kabuto Kouji hair and sideburns all over! :)

I shall watch it on youtube, it appears to be worth it :)

I watched Gunpla Builders Beginning G with my son and I really really did like it, I was watching it cos I got him the SD 'Char's Red Suits' Gundam Model Kit so I wanted to show him how the kits were made and stuff, but I ended up really enjoying it, especially the fights, so many different MS fighing each other - I loved it.

OH I see, no worries - there's even a tantalising 'direct link' here - but it doesnt work :'( -

http://henshinjustice.com/2010/05/27/bl ... nt-subbed/

in searching for LD for sale I found this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blazing-Transfe ... 0808419938

no doubt the LD is impossible to find :(

the manga is apparently still 'ongoing'

Don't think the manga is still ongoing. Every source I've looked at claims 83-85, 12 volumes.

Project Bite Me! scantalation group has been working on the series for awhile. They release some good stuff.

fnished Big O, I loved it overall, though I did find the ending a little 'unresolved', maybe I'm just thick though - amazing art and mood throughout - ace stuff.

Rightstuf has started their Black Friday/Cyber Monday/whatever sale. A few decent titles up for dirt cheap right now. Hopefully some more good stuff will surface. Can't wait for the Christmas sale. Gonna drain me dry.

cool stuff I'm minus broke at the moment though :(

I watched one episode of Last Exile I quite like tomorrow, to really have a 'futility of war' message felt properly after only one episode is an achievement definitely, plus it gets big respect from me for having a Gaelic named ship ;) - misspelled in it as 'Claimh Solas' - should be Claidheamh Solais (Sword Of Light), incidentally that's also the root of the word 'Claymore' Claidheamh Mór (Big Sword).

Anywayz back vaguely on topic - I like all the drawn art in it, though the polygonal stuff does clash a bit with it, but so far not too badly IMO.

Getting a blu ray soon. Don't know which one to get first.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

I think they were 8 months last time, cam rips are always an alternative for those can't wait.

At least Eva 4.0 will be released next year.
