Dunno if anyone else has noticed yet, but the achievements for MBL 1.1 are fucked up. They'll unlock and show in your unlocked achievements screen, but the points don't count toward your total points for the game, and when you go to Xbox.com list, they don't show up at all. Bravo.

I got to play this on a cab again this week. Co-op again, funny that'll get you killed more than it should. Excited for the home port, so I can learn the levels and what. Great game.

That theme is great. Unfortunately I only have 1400 points, and it being 240 points means I can't buy Raystorm HD when it comes out in a few days. I'll pass for now.

I really don't understand what they're thinking in regards to the themes. Show a goddamn preview and I bet most of the themes would sell a bit faster.

The MBL 1.1 for 240 MSP adds more achievements/gamerscore beyond the 1250/60? Whats the total supposed to be at now? Has this been mentioned on the Cave blog, are they aware of the problem?

If/when they release a title update to fix them I'd be interested.

I can't find it on the US marketplace, so I'm assuming its JP exclusive. Would've been great to have something on the US marketplace for this game.

& taking into consideration Aksys' previous release (Record of Agarest War) has tons of gamerpics/themes/add-ons on the JP Marketplace and nothing on the US one, its not a given that Deathsmiles' JP Marketplace content will show up on the US one when the game is released over here.

A vast majority of themes and gamerpics are released a few weeks before or on the day of a game's launch.

Like Aksys' previous 360 releases (Agarest and Blazblue, I recall Blazblue's LE was pretty difficult to find unless you pre-ordered one), the LE will be the only edition out at the game's launch. A standard edition for the same price as the LE will follow a month or so down the line.

I'm still waiting for definite confirmation that this will also work on Japanese consoles, since I'd rather not have to start swapping between my US and JP 360s (especially since my US 360 lacks the HDMI port). Already have mine on preorder, so I guess I'll find out for myself in the two months or so we have until this comes out.

There's a good chance, since you can't upload your stuff on most Japanese region shmups.

Only two retail JPN shmups have been released outside Japan so far, and one of them shares the same Leaderboards as the Japanese release.
