@Plasmo
I'll be playing both Normal and Harder. Obviously if I can't 1CC the game in normal yet, it's a bit silly for me to try to 1CC Harder atm. However Harder mode is fun, and I'll try and beat your score(s)!
My PCB kit is on the way, but now I need to find a supergun to play it. Oh the hilarity!

Correct.Icarus wrote:Or is this the first step on the slippery slope towards credit card debt and stacks of PCB boxes? ^_-

Anyway, I need a supergun for when Mushi Futari comes out and drops to the $1000 level. I thought Ibara would be a nice starter kit, as it's brand new from excellentcom for only $373. That's just an amazing price.
I used to have a cab myself, but sold it when I moved house. I have one of these now with a NeoCD joypad and it works well enough, although I need to find a convertor to let me use a Saturn or Saturn-style PS2 pad on it.twe wrote:Correct.This is my first PCB purchase, and I'll be getting a supergun for it. I think I'm getting one of the D-lite superguns.
The D-Lites are quite nice. I wouldn't spend too much on a supergun though, as they're quite easy to make given the parts, some soldering skill and a bit of patience. ^_-
I thought you would have been one of the first to crack when Mushi Futari was announced. Just like I did with Ibara, and GaijinPunch with Espgaluda 2. ^_-twe wrote:Anyway, I need a supergun for when Mushi Futari comes out and drops to the $1000 level. Yeah, all the people buying the new Ibara kits now did the smart thing and waited - under $400 is a great price. I got mine a month after release off YAJ, for the low low price of 140,000Y... -_-;;
You'll have a while to wait though if you're expecting Mushi Futari to drop in price. Especially given how long Mushi's price stayed up, even after the port appeared.

Kinda crap score, but my 1st 1CC for this. Arrange is 10 times more fun than arcade mode. No matter how much I try, I can't get myself to enjoy the arcade mode. Maybe I'm missing something.

You can just buy a modified saturn pad with a d-15 connector built in. D-Lite sells brand new clear Japanese pads modded for this for $45. Check out his website www.multimods.com to order. I'm going to get one soon!Icarus wrote:

For the time being I bought a D-lite component gun (with component video output, neobitz converter inside) and a mint boxed original Hori Fighting Stick Neo (for the Neo Geo) as my setup. About $350 total.
No, I'm not paying $2000+ for any game. I'll wait, maybe until as late as next summer. In the meantime the original Mushi PCB should go down in price (unless the sequel is some crap game), and I'll probably pick that up. I also want to get an Espgaluda II kit before the end of the year.I thought you would have been one of the first to crack when Mushi Futari was announced. Thanks Plasmo and Icarus! Yeah, I received a new kit from excellent earlier in the week. The crisp graphics and zero loading are making me a happy dude. Now to buy the DVD.Icarus wrote:Grats on the new score Cigs. ^_^
You have the PCB now?
I haven't played it for weeks. The third stage drives me nuts, keep making the tiniest mistake that fucks up a good start in stage 1 and 2. -_-;;
Maybe after I hit a few targets in G-Darius.
