Arcadevga/PS2 through scart to a nice 25'' Sony 15 Khz Crt monitor
Semitsu LS-40 joystick and sanwa buttons.
I have a parsol cristal over the monitor and the picture quality it's stunning

Thanks a lot
The screen is a Samsung 193p plus, 19" with built in pivot-stand. I'd like to - one day - use it in a small cab, maybe bartop, so I can rotate the screen easily.
The stick is Seimitsu LS32-01 and Sanwa buttons (which will de used in the Vewlix-thing once I'm done with it).
Another shot of the stick:

Re:
That's just spooky.
I was at my local hardware and saw these rope-light things sitting in the bargain bin. They were $15 each, so I thought "what the hell" and just grabbed two from the top of the pile, which happened to be blue and red. They give a nice finish to the games room, and don't get hot (all LEDs).

Nice - I dream of getting a nice VGA monitor - what do you run through from console > VGA monitor?Pat70 wrote: two hantarex 21'' vga monitors - picture from dc on it is amazing - errrr...not to tell from these pics I know...louzy camera...or louzy taker
Also - glad to see them propped up on phonebooks - I use out of date film guides for the same job!

Re: Show your Tate setup thats not a cab or arcade machine
might try for a better picture later. Just moved to montreal and wanted to get something setup quickly

I purchased a cga/ega/yuv 2 vga adapter and couldn't be happier.
I'm much happier with this setup than with the PVM I had. As nice as the low res stuff looked, games like under defeat just weren't the same.
You can also see my little mixer with my cowon D2 for adding some tunes to my personal gaming mix. Why not right? gotta listen to something during load times.

Here's my humble tate/test setup. It consists of a homegrown supergun, an Applecolor RGB monitor, and a plain jane neo aes stick.

This type of beefy, mad scientist-looking setup is awesome.undamned wrote:

Meant to take a moody picture with some candlelight but unfortunaly the camera is not the best (or the photographer for that matter)

RFJ running on mame on the tated monitor and the superplay running on my fat old TV. The TV is quite easy to tate as well, but since the computer monitor is super easy to rotate I tend to play MAME more than pcb:s on my supergun or cab.
