put another couple of credits in tonight.. im not enjoying this scoring system at all to be honest, would have been more fun to base the rank on destruction of the bosses.

my fucking CPS2 mobo has gone supersonic aswell so i cant stand the noice more than a couple of credits on end :P

I can do a lot better than this, but I think I would need one more week. When I manage to get 3 consecutive 100%s I screw up and die. When I get a crap ranking, I finish the game. Goddamn. If I could have one perfect run, I could make a much better score.

I think I still have a few hours left. If my wife stops bugging me, maybe I can give it another go later.

    A quick note about my play: got to the last boss no-miss, managed to last a few patterns before getting caught by the spray attack. Bombed once to save the run. Also, somehow managed to 100% stage5. Don't think it helped in the long run, though.
    Had a string of 12mil-to-last-boss-form credits tonight too, all ending with one or two silly mistakes. A bunch of 14.5mil clears, though the potential for over-16mil is there. Just not enough time to refine the run. Ahh well. ¯\(°_O)/¯

Wish I would have had more free time this week to refine my approach to this game. Would have no-missed to Stage 5 easy if not for some stupid mistakes that I seem to repeat (wanting to point-blank everything and getting slammed by back ends of planes all the time)

Will definitely consider picking this up in PCB form when I'm in better financial status, brilliant game this is.

Probably my last, since it's getting late here; I could probably improve this some with another few days. This was the first time I saw the second half of stage 6, so I was panic-bombing quite a bit. I think this run had a stupid death in stage 2, actually, but the rest went quite well, with few deaths and S rank on stages 1, 3, and 4.

This week was rather fun. One benefit of being really bad at a game is that your improvements are quite noticeable, as you learn what to do better. Looking forward to the next game.
