Agreed 110%. Super Sweep's music from SF EX 3 rocks. Even the Player Select screen BGM is amazing. "Temptation Gun" sounds a bit like Ayako Saso's track for stage 7 of the arcade Rolling Thunder 2 (it wouldn't surprise me if she did this one as well).

Whatever happened to War of the Grail? AFAIK, it's never been released.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Thank goodness for not releasing War of the Grail, I'd say. If they didn't think Capcom Fighting All Stars would be a good fit, I can't see Grail appealing to any major audience.

And I'm with you all on Super Sweep. Very little chance they'll do so to avoid connections to SFEX but the music was really great in every installment.

Your next paper, Randorama:

"Realism and the demise of gaming in 21st century" :P
I think someone wrote about the realism of anatomies in KOF, or in general in SNK fighters. Y'know, some geek getting to do research in academia and using his knowledge...to say that Mai Shiranui has irrealistic tits.

Btw: wasn't War of the grail released in 2007 (early)? If not, that would be like the third arcade fighter they DO NOT release. Does not promise well for IV.

If analyzing boobs is wrong I don't want to be right.

Any idea where you saw it? I'm always amused by the papers, like one that talked about Captain America's social networking skills.

New character revealed -courtesy of Majoria as usual.

EDIT - On a semi-related note, Battle Fantasia is coming to PS3 and 360.

Seems like this is going to be alot better that I feared.
I know there's still going to be TS is better ramblings, but oh well
They've come a long way so far. I've seen every character in action (10), perhaps the bosses still need to be done. Anyone seen any bosses yet?

It's been said by Ono before that at least everybody from the original SF2 should be coming back, so one can only assume that Vega (Balrog), Sagat, Balrog (M.Bison) and M. Bison (Vega) will be in it.

So sad the actual graphics don't look anything like the art. It might have been great, but it's goofy instead .

Yeah, but the original games also had exaggerated hit frames.

Shhhhhh! We don't want people to have to make their opinions based on facts, or gameplay, now would we?

He looks to be a practitioner of Sambo, however he isn't Russian like most Sambo fighters are (It originated there), he's French

In case anyone missed it:

*Character Exhibitions here

*Interview with Ono here

- The development team is looking to get SFIV in international arcades by any means necessary, including distributing through a third party.

- There are at least 6 more characters to be revealed. (This is taken from Ono's comment that it would look "horribly unbalanced" for the top of the character select screen to have two rows of 4 above the timer and one row of 2 below it; hinting that it would be more symmetrical, thus, at least 6 if not more characters)

Nice, looking at the keepaway efforts, it seems like Sagat will actually need to be played like a kickboxer now...

yawn, the same old snipes SF players have heard since tekken players came into existance.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Everyone has their same moves.

This game looks retardedly uninteresting.

If it didn't have the Street Fighter name no one would give it a 2nd look, just like Battle Fantasia.

Boxer has a vid too; now for claw and dictator to show up. This game seems built to suit oldschool fans as well as casual players who don't want to get into the combo/juggle/defense technique mess found in today's games.

I don't need to play it to see it's the same game with the same moves that have been used and reused for the last 15+ years.

I've watched all the videos and read up on screens. Sadly I'm more interested in the SF2 HD remix coming up for XBL, which may force me to actually buy a console if they don't get crazy with the mechanics and the online play is decent enough.

I was'nt cool with SF3 after coming from tourneys and LONG periods of Alpha2/3 practice, but it grew on me eventually. I still can't put it in the same bracket as anything Alpha or PRE.. It just seems when the crossover series started getting dumbed down into random button mashing while drooling over 85 hit combos, thier flair was lost. Then you have EX... horrible.. and nothing good has really happened for Capcom fighting since A3 for me, and even that is arguable coming from A2.

One of the things that stood out the most is a comment I caught from the developer, who is responsable for that freaking disaster onimusha/capcom/freaking disaster fighting game that had 15 levels of complexity that refused to work right, said that he wanted players of all skill levels, veteran or not to be able to pick this up and play it on a competative level. Sorry but that rings a huge alarm because they saw what taking just 2 buttons away from the SF2/A models did for getting people drawn to thier fighters 'on a competive level' so I just have to feel like this game is gunna continue increasing that gap from complexity and skill requirements. I could be absoultly wrong, but I just don't feel right about this one.

Apparently Dudley's Awesomeness was outweighed by Balrog's SF2-ness.

With the exception of Abel, color me unimpressed with the line-up. I mean, I know everyone liked SF2, but Christ.

I am really fighting the urge to categorize this as Street Fighter 2 2 and being done with it until release.
