Davey - Great Lakes Avengers - 15,818,100 - 2-6 - MAME

That's good enough for me to call it quits.

How did you record it ? I couldn't access the service mode unless I modify the DIP (which needs reseting the game and aborting the record).
Just go into the dip switches, and turn on "service mode". Exit MAME, then go under "File" and select "Play and record input". When the game starts, it'll go through the usual boot up sequence, and then automatically take you to the service screen where you can select "special". The game starts, and you're off :)

On the one hand... I got to 2-7 :D Unforunately I was inexplicably denied the 1M bonus on 2-1. Then on the 2-3 boss I was trying to destroy all but one part of it before doing the suicide routine but the last two parts both blew up simultaneously so I was robbed of 1M again. Last but not least the same thing happened on 2-5. Although, had I successfully suicided on 2-5 I probably would have croaked right away on 2-6.

Team scorepost.
Nice and big so DJI doesn't miss it. ^_-
  1. 20,997,300 - Icarus - Stage 2-7
    <PIC> <WolfMAME v0.106 Input Recorded>
  2. 20,107,470 - DEL - Stage 2-7
    <PIC>
  3. 18,989,580 - STG - Stage 2-7
    <pic coming soon>
  4. 13,395,780 - Smraedis - Stage 2-4
  5. 5,681,500 - elbarto - Stage 1-5
My teammates may update their scores individually if they choose to. These are all current, as usual, and picture proofs are provided where possible.

My run is WolfInput recorded. Bit of a mess at the start of 2-7, died lots at the start of the minefield, otherwise this would have been 22mil easy. Not going to bother trying for it right now, quite happy with my score. Going to kick back and play Pink Sweets for the rest of the week.

Wasn't the law laid down that people (even teammates, or the Captain) posting other peoples scores was NG? Thought another team got into this w/ the STGT Gods a few weeks ago.

I'm a bit saddened we're breaking our one in 1st tier, one in 2nd tier, one in 3rd tier streak.

Hey, let's stump for an NMK week next year. :)

I can say the same about Viper, Yahoo and Gaiden.
But this is a mathematical impossibility! You can't have more than one "by far least played week." :?

Not unless they've been all played equally, down to the same second. D:

Finally got past the invisible deaths of level 6 long enough to 1cc... Actually timed out the last boss... I've only beaten him with a bomb previously, but that was a godsend, as I was struggling with the peashooter on my last life...

You'd lose out on tons of score though... What would be the point?

Arvandor - Team Fremont - 6,712,810 - 1-6 - MAME

I caught a cold and didn't feel like playing anything as stressful as a shooter this week, but my team needs a third score and I'm mostly over the cold now. Let's see if I can't do better in the next 2.5 hours.

Its almost true :roll: . 8 credits for Gaiden, Yahoo & Viper.
Not much more for OFS as well, but the difference is that I like this game (barring glitches :wink: ).

I hope not as it is actually CHEATING because you are chopping out hard parts of the game to get a better score.

But who knows if people have already done it in their runs because to my knowledge it hasn't really been disallowed in any rules or anything.
