i was playing black label today on 1 loop mode, and got hibachi to half health :!: :shock: no-miss up until the 1-5 boss, where i dropped three lives :x

Does the 1-loop mode give you all three forms of Hibachi?

oh okay. bear in mind that i own BL, and the hibachi fight at the end of 1-5 when you play 1-loop mode is exactly the same boss fight at the end of a normal 2-5, but with the bonus that you can credit feed through it. i know this because i own the game, and play 1-loop mode quite a lot :wink:

Okay, I got this game working with my keyboard!

So I got one superplay video to take inspiration from, but it's a BL run. I understand BL is close enough to original that I can still use it to learn the chains, right ?

no you cant. look up the replays on the game replay data or check plasmos run or whatever.

Of course you can! The chain routes are exactly the same with the only difference that you need to think different when to use how many hypers.
You should be able to chain every stage without a hyper so you can use these emergence strategies when something went wrong and your hpy er items appear in different places.
