Nice catch with gimmick! I think the famicom version is a lot cheaper than the pal version? I've seen pal gimmick sell for around $500.

Yeah, the PAL version is super mega rare. But kind of pointless, because it lacks the soundchip for the extra audio channels that the FC version has.

Yup, but it's one of only a few pal games that were only released in scandinavia. ISwedish NES collectors especially pay ridiculous amounts for it because of the region marking.

here is a video, its really fun.

Oh, NICE!!! This game is awesome, and has some of the best 8-Bit chiptunes of all time.

May I ask what it cost you? It's really hard to get a hold of.
I found this for $90.00 complete with box and manual , It was alittle spendy but worth it

On one of my semi-regular trips to the London Trocadero, I dropped by a small shop called Cybercandy and picked up some game themed energy drinks and a box of mints styled like a NES controller. The mints were nice and the energy drinks were really strong, both flavour and stimulant wise. I quite literally got an instant head rush after having a considerable gulp of the Pac-Man one. That silver thing in the corner is a balisong styled bottle opener I got online a few weeks ago, fun to flip around and not illegal! :D

I have friends up in Manchester who visit Cybercandy religiously whenever they come down South! It's all a bit expensive though, as much as I wanted a Steven Seagal energy drink the last time I was there. The Street Fighter ones look pretty cool though.

Yeah, the energy drinks were about £2 each :S

They were really nice though, and the caffeine rush was crazy. I'd never felt anything noticeable from drinking caffeine until trying one of them.

Plus a bunch of American snacks on my blog. I'm now a Dr Pepper fan, I guess I'd better get myself a mini fridge.

You've not lived until you've had Dublin Dr. Pepper (original formula). Totally different taste, as it's not made with that HFCS shit.. they use real sugar. I'm going home to Texas this summer, and I'm gonna load up!

Rancor, I believe I had some of that at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas. Really great and totally different than what I'm used to for Dr. Pepper.

Hellz J! If you like root beer, you can bring 6x empty 10oz bottles to the DP plant in Dublin and they will give you a six pack of their XXX root beer (for free). It's the only way to get it, it's not sold. Rancor, you missed it buddy. Bout 6 months ago, they made "throwback" DP (Cane Sugar) in the 12-pack cans. They only made it for a very short time. I stocked up but alas it's all gone.

now for shit you just bought:

took it out this weekend and it fired like a champ. yes, the suppressor is fake. although you *could* trim the barrel and slap a gemtech suppressor on there. I've already ordered an authentic HK solid stock, foregrip, pushpins and rear drum sight. *boner*

FYI cause I read your blog. That Cherry 7up you have isn't normal Cherry 7up. It's antioxident specific and tastes awful compared to normal Cherry 7up. If you don't like it, don't get discouraged.

BTW MTN Dew Distortion is the best soda. PERIOD.

Thanks for the tip. I just went in and picked one of everything off the shelf (skipping root beer).

I've had all of those drinks above, and I actually preferred the Canada Dry the most.

All these boxed FC games being posted lately are a thing of beauty. I do cart only for price and convenience, but all those boxed games would look lovely on a shelf.

^Yeah, same here. I rarely buy boxed "older" games unless I just find a really good deal. Older PC games I'm starting to get boxed when I can, though, both for aesthetics and the fact that it's kinda hard to shelve 6 floppies or games with no spines (i'm looking at you N64, 32x, Famicom, etc)

On another note, Gun Nac is so awesome...
