Yeah, probably one of the least common F3 boards. Up there with Riding Fight.

I was just talking about Riding Fight... I want that one BADLY

I did pick up Light Bringer recently, but it is not working. I hope I can revive it...

Don't know if I mentioned it in this thread, but a few years back I bid on a possibly not working properly Riding Fight on YAJ. Thought I bid 4,000. Actually bid 40,000. Goofballs bid me up to over $300 (who spends that much on a game that might not even work right?!), which after proxy bidding fees/shipping was upwards of $400  Long story short, my most expensive PCB was unintentionally so.

I've had a few Light Bringers, heh. The one I have presently was a conversion I picked up because found it intriguing. Usually runs on an orange mobo with the upper expand board, but this was a white mobo converted to run the game. Has some flakiness, but I'm thinking it's do to the board being in pretty poor shape. I picked up a donor white board to transplant the chips to some day.

That SDOJ PCB kit is quite a beauty, ain't she? Congrats on scoring it for your PCB collection, limpan. I had the golden opportunity to try it out at the 2012 California Extreme show and was blown away by the stellar gameplay.

I love them too ... they have a kind of futuristic-retro look to them ... the smooth molded plastic case is very modern, but they're huge and clunky too.

Unless you have the black CPS2 boards, which are the BADASSiest of them all.

So cool that Capcom said "fuck the fan!"

I actually prefer the A+B board setup.

It's so much more intimate.

Two giant pieces of plastic penetrating each other to bring me sweet arcade goodness.

Gunlock GET!

Nice catch :)
I could put my hands on a new sealed copy of the Saturn version called "Layer Section" definitely not as sexy as the board, but better than nothing.
By the way, I've been told the Saturn version (when played in tate mode) is a perfect port, somebody can confirm ?

Well, no port is perfect, but some are extremely close. While the gameplay and graphics are nearly perfect, the extends are not set at the arcade default (not sure on specifics). I also don't know how the sound and music compares.
