I played a bunch of Daifukkatsu since Saturday, and I will be playing a bunch tomorrow (Day off from work).

My copy of DFK hasn't arrived yet, so I played a bit of DOJ-BL to get me in the mood
At my best I can get to Stage-5 but it doesn't look I'll be able to clear the first loop anytime soon. I've only been playing it on and off for about a year, so I suppose that isn't so bad - I find DOJ much more difficult than most of Cave's other titles.

Had fun credit feeding Raiden Trad on Genny last night, even though there are only a few songs which repeat throughout the game, they are catchy as all hell.

The Muchi Pork \Pink Sweets combo disc set should be available soon as well.

Guwange just dropped on XBLA + Dangun Feveron is on the horizon.

And now that I know about it, I suck at playing because I'm now trying to jewel. And dieing before the 2nd level boss in the process.

Sounds like my last experience with Progear. I should start that up again, since I'm already kind of bored with Sonic Wings Special.

1-bombed Stage 4 and perfect Kraken fight! Was instantly murdered on Stage 5, because... Stage 5.

Stage 2 is oddly very hard though. The second canal section with the planes is murderous for scoring (but easy for survival).

Don't hog the left side of the screen, or there will be even more bullets. I can occasionally make it past the Kraken, but I find it's really easy to make mistakes early on that totally screw up the run.

Playing with Yusuke, switched the order of the stages from School-bay-mall to school-mall-bay and finally managed to get to stage 4 on 1 credit again (well, for the 2nd time...).

Now I'll have to practice to get to stage 4 on 1 credit on a regular basis...

Any tip for a little easier cave game for cool-down phases? I was considering getting into progear for a change. (i.e. if I have enough of the constant butt-raping that is Esp Ra.De. for me.) Or should I opt for Mushimesama Futari? (I just unlocked the "Black Label", I read that it should be relatively easy playing for survival.)

Edit: Bay Stage 3 Boss is a real bitch, too. A little less bitchy than mall stage 3 boss, but still... I think I'll play some progear right now... yeah... to relax, you know...

Progear is not a "cool-down" game. That shit requires a totally new playstyle. It's amazing, but don't expect to be good at it straight away.

Argh. I should have known that the Stage 5 tanks can fire backwards. All the same, I'm getting kind of proficient at dodging, and Stage 3 isn't tripping me up anymore. Quite the contrary, I upped scoring by another mil!
