Glad I decided to go for something else (Border Down) than this. 180+ for a sunfaded copy?

Sigh.

That is totally retarded - that harmful park should go for nearer $80 with the sunfade.

I've found that if "Rare" appears in the title of an auction a significantly overpriced item is to be found.

I confidently bid 65$ on it, wanting to bet 80$ max, which I thought was reasonable (it being sunfaded and all)... But it looks like other people wanted it more than I do!

I think it depends what you sell with the item: if you happen to sell Taromaru, Border Down LE and another shmup like Harmful Park, the fact that it's with the others generally ups its price. My theory anyways.

Well, I am sorry, I sold my sunfaded copy of Harmful Park for USD 120+ at eBay a few weeks ago... Asking for USD 180+ still seems a little bit too much.

But well, AIG's shares are selling at USD 20 a share a week ago, it now already USD 26+; Citigroup was USD 14; and its now USD 18+. Compare to them, this price faltuation seems normal.

Wow, what were the bidders smoking?! There are dozens of copies for ~20 USD on ebay. Did the winner acually pay?

A holiday snap with the Twin Towers in the background. A strange auction indeed.

Yeah, paid up and it's shipping out in a couple hours. A lot of my auctions generally go for a little bit more, but almost always end up shipping out to Australia or Europe. I'm going to assume this game wasn't released in PAL Territory and must be in high demand... I guess.

Ok, I know this is a very rare 2600 game, but it's still a 2600 game!!:

Two NEW import copies of Final Soldier went for $22.50 today. I bid on both of 'em...one was a bargain-basement price starting at $5 or something, so I put in a max bid same as the $22.50 one I had been looking for. S&H to North America is $12 on both of em.

Not bad for a new game!

UPDATE EDIT:

I waited on a Space Manbow 16-bit had listed for $270 for a long time. It was a bit expensive for my liking. He recently relisted it and I got it for the opening bid of $200. I think that's good for both of us. :D

I just won a bubble bobble PCB and the guy only takes bank transfers and is from Austria. He won't volunteer his banking info and the ebay system doesn't tell me jack shit either. This is going to go well I Can tell already

I seem to recall several years ago seeing a copy of this (apparently from a shop in Japan) going for something like ¥185,000, although I suspect that one was probably rather high.
