Ecco and Galaxy Force II are confirmed as the next Sega 3D Classics games. Meanwhile, we have none still. What the hell, Sega?
If GForce 2 is the megadrive version....... #shakesfist

If it's anything like the Wii, they're building an emulator unique to each game in the VC, making sure they're dead-on-balls accurate. Hearing that was enough to make me quit raging for Mega Man 6 and 7. (This is third or fourth hand information, though, so take with salt.)

Space Harrier and Super Hang On were the arcade and M2 did a compilation with the arcade Galaxy Force before, so it should be the arcade.

Yeah - hoping so - however altered beast being the MD version worries me a little

Interesting for US/CA 3DS owners. Register Fire Emblem: Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei IV and you get 30$ eShop credits. If you're already planning on, or have gotten one of those games that's a pretty good deal.

Bork. Too bad I got FE used. I think I would've saved more money had I gotten it new.

Greed.

That is a damn fine promotion, shame I'm not planning on getting the games. Or living in the US.

So, somehow I got the $30 store credit with SMT4 (but not Fire Emblem!!??) Is there anything great in the e-shop?

A bit late, but what does it matter that you got it used? Did you not get the code? If you did, I doubt most people bother to register their codes with Club Nintendo, since Club Nintendo is usually crappy and not worth bothering with.

You're making no sense, you're supposed to get 30$ for registering BOTH games, so you're not supposed to get a 30$ store credit for SMT4 and then get a 30$ credit for Fire Emblem...

What I'm saying is that I got the $30 store credit, but haven't purchased Fire Emblem. Some sort of internet blunder? Maybe I should use it to buy fire emblem ;)

The 3D effect on Galaxy Force 2 is very nice indeed. Another triumph.

Come now, it's time to roll out the SERIOUSLY fun stuff. I call once again for Power Drift.

odd. I know it still works if you already registered FE before the deal was announced. I used the credit for Kokuga and the Streetpass games. It could be a glitch too. One time, some baseball game I didn't get was listed in purchases in Club Nintendo instead of the game I did have, but after a day or so, the page was fixed.

Some of the rewards disappear too fast compared to other regions and not as much stuff is as available as it should be, but if you already plan to get some stuff worth coins, I feel it's worth it, especially now that VC and DSiWare are offered. It is kind of lame how 2 dollar games like Aura Aura Climber end up on there, though (the game itself is awesome, however).

Lucky swine. Have you played Crimson Shroud? Pretty much the only game I've played to completion from the e-shop.

Sega 3D Classics is coming to the EU & US eShop btw, in case there was anyone who didn't know. It was confirmed in the latest EU Nintendo Direct (Sega's official site says US release too).

Is Kokuga actually popular? (genuine non-trolly question)

I bought the JPN version and played it and it just never went anywhere quickly so sold it back. Then i had spare US credit and rebought it at the bargain price and tried to get into it again and , once again, just nothing clicked. Am i missing something?

I was really hoping to like Kokuga because it reminded me a lot of Granada in terms of mechanics, but the slow fire rate just made the whole thing a bit boring. Shame. I'll probably still get it eventually.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is going to be occupying my 3DS for a fair amount of time, but I'm starting to think of what to play next. Fire Emblem has really caught my eye, but I'm also really interested in Animal Crossing, if only for how popular it is on the Internet and with every other person I Street Pass...

Retro City Rampage is coming to the 3DS...and, more importantly, it will not support 3D. Is this the first such release to (not) do so? In any event I think it's great news, as Nintendo is at this point apparently willing to free developers from the restraints of its system's primary "gimmick" and simply let them make something that works, much as it eventually eased off implementing ill-fitting stylus controls and whatnot for the original DS. Here's hoping the trend continues.

Can anybody tell me what the new Kunio-kun title (Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun SP) has to offer above Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun Special released in late 2011 ? Is it a completely new title or a mild update typical of ArcSys other fighting games ?

The new 2DS makes perfect sense if you have kids. If you don't then it's not for you.

Young kids aren't supposed to use 3D b/c their eyesight is developing. Young kids love the Nintendo DS games, but non-3DS releases are pretty much done for a while now.

My kids are still pissed that they can't get any of the new games b/c we didn't get them a 3DS. This is perfect.

I'm in for two. One for me and one for my four year old. 130 bucks for a 3ds without the 3d seems like a no brainer to me. Does anyone actually even enjoy the 3d anyhow? No hinges to break and no screen scratching either.

I predict these sell like crazy.

It makes sense (outside of the name), yes, but it's still hilarious.

Octopod: I'm guessing for most people, having an open exposed screen when not in use will result in more scratches. Yeah you can buy a case, but then the appeal of this being a budget version lessens a bit.

Kids don't care if it scratches. My son's DS is so disgusting I couldn't stand it for a moment, but he doesn't even seem to notice.
